What can I say, it’s the ULTIMATEMANSTORE! Totally addictive. If you shop around and compare you can actually find tools/items there that are exactly the same as the one’s in the big box stores for ½ the price. When i say exactly the same it is exactly the same except on occasion the color of the item itself. Save $ 5 because plier hand is red vs blue, you betcha. Also, with Harbor Frieght you really see their prices drop. So if an item is $ 12 at some point they will sell it for $ 10 and with the 20% off now you are paying $ 8. I have purchased a mixture of inexpensive to moderately expensive tools and other items and thus far have been pleased. Oh, yea throw in a free flashlight, multimeter or scissor once in awhile. Bonus. I wont buy everything there but as time goes on i keep buying more there. Cant wait to go back.

You can easily stock up on your everyday tools from here, for dirt cheap at that. If your ever in that area, go check it out. They have a wide range of tools from screw driver bits to impact drills, compressors, and much more. You never know what you might find in there.

I used to agree with the 2 pevious reviews — in fact I still do, at the time. But things change. In harbor freights case prices have gone up, a lot, but quality hasn’t So Lowe is often cheaper. I don’t see how harbor freight expects to survive charging high prices for what is generally(though not always) junk

100% Gnarly. Harbor Freight is not a store for the career mechanic. It is, however, a great place to buy odds and ends for cheap, like saw blades, grinding wheels, and wrenches. The tools are available in a variety of grades, allowing you to buy as much tool as you need, but not charging an arm and a leg. There are tools here that fall apart after two uses. But if you’re going to use a tool twice, and then won’t need it, that works out fine. They have a 30-day warranty on most things, and their hand tools are lifetime warrantied. Air compressors are affordable here, and the air tools, while not professional grade, will certainly get it done for a hobbyist. Buy as much quality as you need, don’t go bankrupt for a tool you use twice a year.

Not all their tools are built to last and most are china made, but if you’re one that works with metals, this a great place to stock up on files, diamond burs, safety mask and goggles, pliers, etc… all for dirt cheap. They have other great things I’ve bought from here, so go check them out!
