Really fresh all the time. They add a lot of avocado to the to their sushi. Love it all!

Better than the other sushi restaurant in town and bring cash to get your 10% discount.

This is THEBEST sushi you’re gonna find in Richmond hands down AND you get 10% off if you pay with cash PLUS two free drinks. On top of all that you get some super nice friendly faces who aren’t faking it because they were told to be nice, they’re genuinely super kind. I can’t say enough nice things about these huts and couldn’t recommend them more.

Really love this place. Such nice and considerate people. Cheap food but quite delicious. They make the sushi right there. I’ve really only had a few things there since I don’t eat animal products but the things I did have are quite well made.

Some interesting sushi platters. The quality of the fish and the rice is just a step higher than grocers. The main reason for three stars are the deals. The pricing on the rolls is excellent, and they have a deal where if you pay above a certain amount(I think 6 bucks), then you get TWO drinks for free. I would totally get a roll, grab a few sodas and head out.

I’ve been a couple of times now and the food seems to be fairly consistent. Consistently mediocre. It isn’t bad, don’t get me wrong, but it is only slightly better than grocery store sushi. The service is excellent and the people there are very nice. The atmosphere is bare but clean. The amount of styrofoam kinda made the environmentalist in me cringe! Though I guess that helps keep costs down. They also serve some Burmese food, though it seems you have to ask to hear all the options there. I didn’t try any but my friend enjoyed his, saying it was quite unique. There aren’t a ton of sushi options in the area, so it is worth a try if you’re craving some sushi and don’t want to drive to Lexington and/or spend much money.

This is one of the best«hole in the wall» places in Richmond. The place is very tiny and very easily over looked. It usually stays pretty busy, especially during lunch hours. When it’s busy, I wouldn’t expect to actually sit down and eat in there. There’s only a few tables; it’s VERY cramped. Honestly, it makes my claustrophobia flare at times. It’s clean though! The prices are amazing. The quality is amazing. You get a discount for using cash. The last time I ate here, I walked out with 3 free drinks. All of that makes up for the tiny space. This was the first place I ate sushi at. I had never had it before. Very glad I went to Khin’s!

Khin’s is one the best lunch deals I’ve ever seen in the U.S.(And I’ve been everywhere) The rolls I typically go for cost around $ 6, and I get two cans of soda included. I’ve gone in with family and ended up walking out with several extra beverages. I’ve had sushi many times in Japan, two Nobu restaurants, and many other places, and while there’s nothing fancy about the presentation, I’ve always left satisfied. Don’t expect a great atmosphere for a romantic date or an important business lunch. The inside is very basic. It’s clean, but very bare-bones. Regardless, Khin’s is a gem!

My favorite sushi place I’ve ever eaten at! Stepping through the doors of this small shop there really isn’t much to look at, however the food is worth the lacking décor. The price of the food is amazing for the quality and quantity of the sushi. I came with my dad and he ordered one of everything just because it was so inexpensive. and everything was delicious!

I can honestly say I have religiously visited Khin’s Sushi and have never been disappointed by the amiable service, affordable prices, and high quality fresh sushi. Before trying Khin’s I disliked sushi, now I am obsessed with their food. This is a great local restaurant everyone should visit because it is fast and worth every cent.

It’s a very clean, nice environment. The sushi is fresh, and always tastes great. It’s not a long wait for the sushi, and you normally get two drinks for free with your order. As i like fried food, their dumplings and eggrolls are good too, though maybe a bit pricey. Though they give you plenty to eat, you always find yourself craving more. I think it’s quite perfect for lunch or dinner, and a place to come back to.

Great and fast sushi stop in Richmond, KY. If you call ahead they will have your order waiting for you to pick up. I have had the spicy combo roll and the special California roll. Both are great. They have a menu with several different rolls, and several side items. The prices are really cheap, with special rolls being $ 7,$ 8,$ 9 and sides just a few dollars. They also give you free cans of soda!

So I was on my way back to Atlanta after a business meeting in Lexington and I was really hoping to get some good sushi. I read the great reviews on Unilocal and decided to stop here since it was, more or less, on my way. Khin’s is definitely made for take-out with some tables for dine-in, but the styrofoam plates and canned sodas tell you where their heart is. The sushi is good… not awesome… not bad… but good. What separates this place are the reasonable prices(focused on inexpensive rolls) and the friendly and efficient service. They also throw in free cans of soda with your order(amount of free soda is determined by size of order). Don’t expect much in the way of dining room decorations… but that’s ok, because the prices are cheap and the service is fast… and remember it’s focus take out. Definitely hit the spot when jonesing for a sushi fix. I would come back, for sure.

Fast, delicious and cheap! Lots of free sodas. Everything was good! Too bad I don’t live closer. It is kind of hard to find if you aren’t from the area.

Khin you win. My belly that is. Huge rolls with righteous pricing. The rice on the rolls is so important. Khan’s rice is perfectly cooked and fresh not dried out like you can sometimes get. We will be back when in Richmond.

This place is a Gem! Locally owned and you can tell. There’s so much attention to detail with the food. Its a small hole in the wall but its clean as a whistle and the food is expertly made! Wow Richmond is really lucky to have this place !! I got the Special Seafood Soup huge shrimp with large pieces of crab very fresh carrots and celery and egg. Super Duper Yum!

The service is 5++ stars. The sushi is 4 stars. For once, I’m gonna round up to the 5 stars. We found ourselves in Richmond one weekend because the muscle car needed new tires. Boyfriend is very proud of knowing how to use his newly installed Unilocal app; unfortunately, he’s not a fan of sushi at all. More for me though! And he was sweet to find this place for me while we waited for the tires to be installed. Khin’s was pretty hard to locate; it’s in a strip mall with Hobby Lobby, pretty far off the road. It’s also a bare bones kind of place, so don’t expect much. But what it lacks in décor, it makes up in hospitality, which is pretty much above and beyond. Appetizers are about $ 3 and sushi is anywhere from $ 5 to $ 9. You really do get your money’s worth. The rolls are pretty much double in size from other sushi joints, but a big factor in that is that they do use a lot of rice… moreso than what they are supposed to use. It’s not a very noticeable skimping of the fish… it is more than adequate, which is why I can’t really find reason to be annoyed about the abundance of rice. It is a little heavy on the saucing though, but I think that it’s catering to their customer crowd… I’m more used to the plain; I don’t even use soy sauce or wasabi half the time. And while it’s not California or Chicago sushi, it’s pretty good for being smack dab of horse and mountain country. Hilariously, I did appreciate that the rolls were served in styrofoam platters because we did have to make a hasty exit. So if you’re looking for candles and muted lighting and soft music, this is not it. But what really puts them over the top is their service with a smile. The owner pretty much does everything, and he is always running around the place. You get free drinks with an order of $ 5, which is pretty much a roll… and it’s not skimpy drinks either… it’s bottled water or a can of pop. He even tried to load us with 8 bottles of water once we decided to take our half finished meals to go… my boyfriend was all for that, but I was like, What? Who does that? Take your bottle; we have some already in the car… but that hospitality… it’s really sweet and not something you’d find common nowadays.
