I come here occasionally because my mom loves it. The fajitas are usually always consistently delicious. You can get them all different ways. Personally I like to get them a la diabla. On this occasion I happened to get the flautas de pollo. I should’ve just stuck with the fajitas. There was very little meat in the flautas. They were literally almost flat. I was in impressed this time around, but service was good. No one in my family complained about the food so I assume their plates were all satisfying. Next time around I’ll definitely stick with the fajitas.

Definitely not a place for soup. Or salsa. Or enchiladas. We left very disappointed due to the fact that everything tasting like it either came out of a can or with no flavor whatsoever. My chicken soup had what seemed like bagged frozen vegetable medley in it and large chunks of plain chicken breast. Didn’t expect that from a Mexican place.

I was definitely craving Mexican food, and we always drive pass this restaurant on the way to work. First off, they have a really nice, calm and chill ambiance. The décor really sets you in the mood for Mexican as well. Almost makes me feel like I’m on the border of Texas or California. Our server was helpful and we ordered our food. My tacos were great, the meat was well prepared and tasteful and my meal came with a side of rice, beans, and chile con queso. The chips and dip they gave us to start off with was very good! We couldn’t stop eating it. Overall great local restaurant right here in Richmond off 99(Grandparkway). Very friendly staff, and delicious authentic Mexican food. Can’t get better than that

Went in on Thursday evening at 6:30. The restaurant was fairly busy but there were multiple open tables. There is no waiting area so we are standing in the dining room waiting to be acknowledged. Our party of six and at least four other parties just stand there and wait and wait. Servers walk by over and over and no one seems to care. We finally just walked out.

Food was awful! I was told this was a pretty good Mexican restaurant in the Katy area. I’ve ordered the Taco salad, and Soup. Nothing Mexican about their soup. And taco salad was a bunch of white pieces of lettuce, no greens. The chips and salsa tho we’re pretty fresh! Overall, skip this place!

Their food is okay pretty greasy. I eat the nachos their are okay. My husband always eat the burrito or fried chulapa. Okay but greasy. The taco salad is good if you add meat beans cheese and rice.

My husband got the chipotle chicken plate and it was amazing. I got a plate with an enchilada and taco. Beef fajita was good. The cheese in the enchilada wasn’t that great. I don’t like it when tex mex restaurants use yellow cheese. I also like my cheesy food to be really really hot and stringy and it wasn’t. I did like the salsas. I will definitely be back just won’t get a cheese enchilada or a quesadilla. Oh and I love the fact that they offer a lunch menu on the weekend.

We eat here a lot because it’s convenient to our house, so I’m very familiar with the menu. I’d have to rate it at 3 – 4 stars. Not my favorite Mexican food, but it’s ok. I don’t really care for their tortillas, as here often greasy and gummy. Most of the food is just ok. I will say, though, that their salsa is very good. And the queso is pretty good as well. Service is ok… sometimes good, sometimes not so much. And their strawberry margaritas are very good!

Below average at best. Tried it twice as I live less than a mile away. That said, I will not be there a 3rd time.

The staff is friendly. The service is always on top of it. The loss of two stars comes from the quality of the food and the atmosphere. I usually don’t bag on an atmosphere but nothing special has been done to the room to make it feel like a truly unique Mexican food restaurant. The salsa is some what spicey but lacks in flavor. Salsa is one of the first things noticed at such an establishment and both the roja and verde salsas lack. The food was hot and seemed fresh but nothing unique for the price.

This place is awesome! It’s our Friday night go-to Mexican! Their salsa, both the green and red are fresh and excellent. Their Mole sauce is the best I’ve ever had. I suggest the Mole Chicken Enchiladas. Their charro beans are excellent as well.

We moved to the area almost 4 years ago and this has become our favorite«hole in the wall» place to go. The food is good, the staff is friendly and remembers us and our usual orders(food & drinks)! It can be a bit crowded at peak times, but we have never had to wait more than 20 minutes for a table. Great queso!

The best salsa ever! I love both red and green and would go for the salsa alone. They have numerous good chicken dishes but I’m not a fan of their beef. They also have great guacamole.

For a family run tex nex this place is hard to beat in katy and houston for that matter. Fajita nachoes, chicken soup, enchiladas all bomb. I will be tring more. Good happy hour too.

Okay, now that I’ve been able to try more items on the menu, this is a solid 5 stars, and it’s not just because the options are limited in the suburbs. Fajitas a la puebla — if you like fajitas with all the bells and whistles, this is for you. The crumbled chorizo, white queso, sauteed onions, mushrooms, and peppers give it all the flavor you could want in fajitas. Grilled shrimp — from the healthy menu — such a boring name for what is a delicious dish! The grilled shrimp, mushrooms, and bell peppers are so perfectly seasoned. It’s a nice option if you’re not looking for something too heavy for dinner. Camarones a la diabla — Shrimp in devil sauce? — This is one of my favorite dishes here. It’s indeed spicy but so full of flavor. It’s savory without being greasy. My husband and I clean our plates when we order this dish because it is so great. Again, from my previous review, I am a fan of their green sauce. Sometimes you have to ask them to bring it out — which I don’t mind because I wouldn’t like it going to waste if someone doesn’t prefer this version. Since they’ve expanded, we’re not so stressed about getting there so early for a table. It’s kid-friendly of course too.

We liked this place a lot, too bad it’s a bit far from our home. DH had the enchiladas, I had the house salad with fajita beef. I was impressed with the fact that it had actual greens on it and not just iceberg lettuce. One quibble, the salsa is appallingly bland.

My coworkers absolutely love coming here. We come here for all special occasions. I have been here a few times during different times of the day. It’s mostly busy here during lunch in between the hours of 11:30 am-2:00 pm. I always get the same things here which is the fajita platter with chicken and beef or the fajita burrito with queso cheese on top. The portions are fair and the taste of everything is pretty consistent during all my visits. Service sometimes is a little slow during lunch because of the rush, but overall it’s ok.

I’ve always ordered my food to-go since we leave near by. They do a good job of getting your food out quickly. My most recent visit was this morning for breakfast, we had the Las Mannitas omlete which comes with Mexican potatoes, refried beans, bacon, and 2 flour tortillas. Added a side of pancakes, ham and Mexican potatoes. I used the tortillas, beans, bacon and potatoes to make breakfast tacos. Paired with cheese and their red salsa this was great. My hubby had the omlette, ham, and pankcakes. He said the pancakes taste like they were cooked on a grill that wasn’t clean, but other than that he said the omlete was good. A few days ago we had dinner here. — soft tacos — chicken chimichanga — Chile relleno w/ground beef Dinner was pretty good, meals were all under $ 10. Only complaint is the beans were salty. This place is decent, I’ll go back. It’s not the best Mexican food I’ve ever eaten, but with reasonable prices and quick carryout it’s a good option.

Pretty decent. The tamale was way better than I expected. They also heat up the salsa that comes with the free chips(temperature wise). The ambiance isn’t that impressive but the staff was attentive. I took pics of the entire menu, so check out the photos.
