Macy’s

I never shop here for myself but I decided to give the store a try. They have a large selection of nice, quality items. I like that the employees have a fashionable and professional appearance that makes you really feel like it is a nice place. The section with the home products looks very cluttered and was hard to maneuver through with a lot of people in the store.
If I ever shop here again, I would only shop for people who ask for something specifically from the store. My experience at this store changed once I started getting followed around by an employee. I was there with my girlfriend and I really felt offended after this incident. I was planning to buy a few nice dress shirts but changed my mind because I passed by 8 employees just standing there and nobody asked if I needed help or even greeted me. Then one of them decided to follow me throughout the store. My girlfriend has anxiety and started to freak out once she saw an employee sprinting around the store just to follow us. There was only one employee that greeted me and he did so in a kind and sincere manner. For these reasons I will continue to do my shopping elsewhere.

This is not the biggest Macy’s out there. Nice good sized store with men’s section on the ground floor, and women’s section on the 1^st floor.

This is my favorite Macy’s in Richmond! This is the biggest one in the area, with two floors filled with amazing clothing, shoes, appliances, cosmetics, etc. I always feel that it’s easy to find what I want at this location. It’s really well lit here. There’s no dark area in any part of the store. There’s plenty of space to walk here too, even when it’s crowded, like it was during Black Friday weekend. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Their parking lot is very big, so there’s no problem trying to find a spot. If I ever need to shop at Macy’s, this is my #1 spot.

Very bad customer service experience. The manager tried to help but the employee looked like he didn’t want to be there !!! It was a horrible experience

app or use the «electronic» coupon from your smartphone! Yay!

Im not big on shopping but i made a stop in here hoping to find a bargain. And stumbled upon a great pair of jeans. Fit great. Looked great. Felt great… I paid more than I normally would but the perfect fit made it impossible to walk away…
There was one unfortunate thing happening at the register. The cashier evidently didn’t know that in this country we use deodorant DAILY… My eye lashes were burning standing there, and I was secretly praying she would hurry up and ring my jeans up.
Pssst… The jeans were worth the invasion of funk in my nose lol. Nothing more important than a good pair of jeans!

Macys at Short Pump is one of my favorite Macys in the area. This Macys is very spacious. You are not overcrowded when shopping. This Macys has two floors. The clothing section is huge and usually fully stocked. There’s plenty of registers throughout the store for customers. The store is clean. The staff is helpful. Located at Short Pump Town Center, parking is not a problem. Macys is one of my favorite stores at Short Pump Town Center.
