Came here because it was the only place in this godforsaken town to get whiskey on a sunday,. She took away our brunch menus I was getting ready to order from because it was a few minutes after time so we ordered some sides… Mac and cheese was horrible, veggies were from a frozen bag, and rice was drenched in butter. Whiskey was OK and there’s a pool table, just don’t come here to eat.

I have been a fan of Madison Gardens since I was in college 20 plus years ago. They used to have the best wings anywhere! The wings are still really good but you walk away feeling like you really didn’t get your money worth. The wings are really small(baby chicks) compared with what they used to have and they charge you for each little cup of dressing. On top of that they now serve little bitty chicken drums when it used to be wings only. I hate to see what I consider their main staple go down hill. Don’t get me wrong they are still my favorite tasting wing but be prepared to order double what you would have had to order years ago. The burger I had was really good but I opted for french fries instead of chips(extra charge) and I would be surprised if there were even 15 fries on the plate. Jessica was our server and she was great. We live in Lexington and make the trip down to MG’s about twice a year. Its a special treat for us but you just get the feeling that they are skimping on portion size and trying to nickel and dime you to increase the profit margin. It would be one thing if they reduced the price but the price seems to have increased and everything else has decreased.

I love the wings here. I get the mild ones because well… the hot ones are hot! I have only had food before the night crowd, but every time it has been good!

Wings, wings, wings. Love them! Cant wait to go back! Best wings ever. If you are looking for something upscale this isn’t the place. If you want to kick back with friends a drink and great wings, I’ll meet you here!

Nothing wrong with food. Party of 5 and 4 of us got our food. All I got was I am sorry I forgot to put in your burger order. Food was fine. Service is aweful.

I love the gardens, their pizza is superb, excellent selection of sandwiches & their onion rings are great. They have a very unique style of pasta on the menu which gives a variety of ways to order. They even have a spaghetti eating challenge, I’ve seen it attempted by quite a few but needless to say I would not even attempt. Excellent choice of beer & beer specials as well as a full bar for mixed drinks.

Best wings in Central Kentucky. If you haven’t been here, then it needs to be on your bucket list of places to eat before leaving this earth. Nuff’ said. PS: They have Keno in here too… so if you like gambling, then you may win some money!

Great place! Great food, super awesome staff! Kid friendly! We were passing through town and trying to stay away from the chains and this was great! Kids menu was perfect and even came with ice cream! Great start to vacation!

I visited Madison Garden yesterday with a couple of old time friends. We were able to find this local restaurant after cruising around the city and we definitely made the best decision. We were greeted with smiles from their amiable staff and were prompted to our table in the patio. The steak salad I ordered would make my top 5 favorite salads and I was enthralled by how delicious it was. I was fully content to have been served great quality food at affordable prices. The ambiance of the pub was comforting because it gave me a sense of community. It is child friendly and I am sure it carries a great reputation during popular games. It even includes a small space for local bands to come out and perform. I would have imagined to see this in New York somewhere, but I am glad it is near to my home.

Ok, so here it is. I popped into this place because I heard they have good wings. As soon as I walked thru the door there was no less than 3 servers and a hostess waiting to great me, not gonna lie, kinda creepy. I’m a bar guy so that’s where I navigated. Cell phone was almost dead and thankfully the bartender Ashley was happy to seat me in a stool with an outlet and a bowl of peanuts. Everybody, staff and patrons were friendly as hell. Stories and laughs from all. Even the servers at the wait station I happened to be sitting next to(Mckenzie being one) checked to see if I was enjoying myself. I tried the hottest wings they offered. Come to find out, their infamous wings happened to be dry rub, normally I hate dry rub. Turns out, the wings were actually as awesome as I’ve been told(no where near the heat I was hoping for though). The wings were a thin crispy battered skin of flavorful Texas cayenne and spices, but the real treat is when you bite thru and experience the plump, juicy chicken meat within. Anybody can toss good sauce onto a bad wing(ie: b’dubs), it’s a great place that can make a wing good as a whole. They’ve got a patio bar you can smoke on outside, upstairs loft, downstairs leads to the pool table(always a bonus with me). Bottom line is, if you travel as much as I, and your looking for a bar adventure, this place is worth a special trip. Only reason this isn’t 5 stars is that my friends tell me I need to save the 5th star for places that can change a person’s life.

Good Food. Mine here are the hot wings, ceaser salad, and the Hawaiian pizza! All good the hot on the hot wings means hot too! They are dry rub wings not like buffalo wild wings and hooters. So good and different. They also have tv’s and a outside patio!

I’ve lived in several different cities across the US and travel for work. When i’m on the road, I always look for a place that serves good wings. Nothing comes to close to the wings at Madison Gardens. This place has the BESTWINGS I’ve ever tasted!

You know those times when everyone in your party is complaining about what they ordered, and you’re over there grubbing with a smile? Well, that’s what it was like here. We went here for lunch and when we walked in, I was a bit surprised that it was basically a bar. It felt weird being there and we were the only ones for a bit. I heard that they had great wings but I wasn’t feeling an entire order, so I went with a salad. I kid you not, the salads are big enough for two people. They only gave me two small containers of ranch though… not near enough dressing for that size of a salad. The people at the table behind us must’ve been regulars, because I heard them mention and order splitting a salad… smart move. A weird notation is that when we requested an extra ranch, I was brought just one more and charged extra for it.

Waitress was extremely nice but the food is questionable. I got the Deli sandwich and didn’t even get to eat one bite because there was a big hair cooked in it. If you get a burger or sandwich there is a $ 1.59 up charge for the fries and there were literally maybe 20 fries and that’s being generous and there is a .59 cent charge for lettuce, tomato, & onion with your burger. The men bathroom was disgusting but what do you expect for a college pub. I ordered a coffee to go and she brought it out in a plastic melting cup. She pointed it out that it was melting so she added an extra cup. She was nice but that was laughable.

The food was good, although one of the people I was with had a hair in his food. I had the 8.99 bacon cheeseburger, and I asked for toppings, which was an extra .59. I also substituted chips for fries, which was an extra 1.59. When my meal came out my immediate reaction was«I get 10 fries for almost $ 2? Not the waitress’ fault, I know, but an apology or explanation would have been great. I don’t mind digging into my wallet for some good food, but this food was not up to my expectations for the price I was paying. It just seems like a place trying to get into naïve college students’ wallets. I do not have any plans on returning.

I used to have a great review up of this place, but I have since had nothing but bad experiences. We have only been 3 times in the past two years and each one was horrible, followed by about 6 – 10 months of not eating there before forgetting and making the mistake again. Here is the thing: the food is great and the bartenders are super sweet. We have had the same waitress all three of these times and she is absolutely the worst. She is likely the reason for all of our bad experiences, but somehow is still there. I will only focus on this visit since I can’t remember the others well. We came in, sat outside(which is a bit out of the way) She took our drink order for water with lemon(we both asked for it in those words). Brings us water without lemon and takes our meal order. We had to repeat our meal orders 3 times because she was texting while we were ordering and then admitted it. «Sorry, I wasn’t paying attention to you at all. I saw I had a text and started replying.» We asked for lemons again. She said she’d forgotten bc she had more tables now. She also told me my meal came with a side, so I ordered an extra item. After she came back out with our food, but without lemons, my fiancé went inside to ask a bartender(only 3 tables had people and there were other waitstaff). She came around the corner with lemons, dropped them, then finally came out with them. At least my water tasted good now. The food was fine. I had misread my meal, thinking it was a chicken item on top of pasta, but it was just the chicken breast. When she brought the lemons, i asked if there was any way to get just a side of pasta bc it was my craving. She brought me a bowl with one serving of spaghetti. We didn’t see hide nor hair of her again and asked the people at the outdoor bar for a box and our ticket. She came out with our ticket, he paid. When we got out to the car, he told me that there had been a $ 4 charge for the side I ordered. I went back in, asked her about it, and was told it was the charge for my serving of pasta. Whatever. we’re done. Never leaving the Paddy Wagon again.
