I had a whole bag full of several different kind of shoes, all needing to be repaired in some way. From snapped straps to missing heel caps, he fixed them all and in a very short amount of time. What amazed me most of all, though, was the price– SHOCKINGLY CHEAP. The work is top notch; All of my shoes are still in great condition!

I went there looking for a bottle of shoe stretching liquid. It was only cheaper than any where that I’ve ever seen.
He and his wife were quite friendly and answered the questions I had about shoe polish, the shop, and the ancient Singer machines he has. They even suggested the name of a vendor in the area that could help me with my similarly ancient Singer machine.
But back to shoes: I happened to have the shoes that I wanted to get polished in my car, so they kept the shop open a little longer so I could run and grab them. It was cheaper to have him polish the shoes than it was for me to buy polish and the supplies needed to apply it. Their job was also far better than what I could have done, as the shoes look like new! I am planning on having him take care of several pairs of boots and such later on.
There are two downsides (for me at least): They close at 5 during the week, and he only takes cash (maybe checks, I didn’t ask about them). But given the quality of the customer service, I’ll suck it up and hit the ATM when I have to.
