McDonald’s

I swear I hate to do this but this place leaves me no choice. How hard is it to NOT put cheese on a sandwich that is tagged NO Cheese. I usually only eat the fish sandwich from this place because for some reason the ice cream machine never works and the fries are always nasty… but each and every time I say No cheese some genius adds cheese. Now I could be a jerk and go with the assumption of all people that work in fast food have low education and low IQs but that’s mean and the African American woman I am, I know what judgement feels like… however I can’t help to think that someone in this place has a vendetta against me because if I don’t check my sandwich before I pull off I will have cheese in it. Damn what they write on the receipt because it is never right. And would it kill them to put more than 1 pickle on my fish sandwich… my mom brought me a fish sandwich from here and after strict orders of no cheese she brings me the sandwich piping hot with you guessed it MELTED CHEESE. Do you know how hard it is to get melted cheese off of a fish sandwich. it’s damn near impossible. I had to scrape it off with a knife. Thank God for my Boston Terrier who enjoyed the cheese bread. My mom said the woman at the window said «yeah put 1 pickle on the sandwich» are you kidding me 1 pickle. Is McDonald’s doing that bad that they have to ration out pickles on a fish sandwich to keep them afloat? I bet if I ordered a murder burger (I.e. pick one cause they are all bad for you) they would have gladly tossed some pickles at me. If you want to be harassed by a vagrant while in the drive thru dine here. If not go up a few miles on Midlothian and pray their ice cream machine works.
P. S. I wish I could have given them 1 star but my agency car got stuck in the drive thru at 2am one night and the lady at the window was really nice to me. So they are not all bad.

As I pulled up I thought, please let the tea be sweet! It wasn’t. And I specifically asked for sweet tea. When we asked it they gave us the right drink they said yes. Instead of offering a new drink or refund, we had to ask them for some sugar. How disappointing!

This location is super convenient to my school. My fellow classmates and I have been here a few times in the past year. The customer service is always great. The employees are friendly. We always receive our food quickly, which is most important because we only get a 20 minute break. The french fries and McChicken sandwiches are always delicious. Thanks for fulfilling my late night fast food needs!

The manager rang us up and and completely screwed up our order, overcharging us $ 13! She was extremely rude and dismissive, kept arguing with us about the order, insisting she was correct, and that we didn’t know what we had ordered.
We managed to convince her of one mistake and she refunded approximately $ 7 and change. It took quite a lot of showing her what was wrong on the bill and going through the math verbally before she refunded the remaining $ 5 and change that she had overcharged us. She also kept all of the receipts — the original receipt with all of the errors, and both of the refund receipts. To be clear, she didn’t provide any receipt at all in the end.
That level of rudeness, especially when she is being spoken to in a polite manner, is inexcusable. We will not be back to that McD’s for as long as she works there. We are now LESS LIKELY to visit ANY McD’s; why would we when we know we can get a burger for about the same price at Burger King or Wendy’s without the attitude?

I really don’t know why, but every time I come here the fries taste awful. I thought maybe it was just an isolated few weeks (see my first review). Wrong. It’s all the time.
Regardless, this seems to be the only place on the southside of Richmond that has a working espresso machine. I come here all the time for my McCafe iced mocha fix and that earned it an extra star.
Thanks for being there for me. Your food may suck, but at least I can get some caffeine.
