It’s a pretty quiet place, most of the time. They’ve got a pretty nice playground for the kids. The dog park is pretty big but don’t be completely surprised if your dog ends up contracting parasites there. Plus, people tend to not pick up after their own dogs.
The water is nice to look at; it’s pretty sludgy and funky though so I wouldn’t take a dive in or anything.
They also have a little concession shop, although I’ve never seen it actually open so the hours might be a bit odd.
In short, it is a nice place to visit if you dont like the super busy and full larger parks. But be careful where you walk; the ducks poop everywhere! :)

This place is pretty peaceful and clean and I love that there is a playground nearby. I certainly did NOT accidentally slip and fall in the water at the boat launch or anything. That would be embarrassing! :)

This park is so nice! Big dog fenced in area. There is also a smaller fenced area just in case some dogs don’t want to play nice. There are benches all around for people to sit. Don’t worry about bringing poopy bags because these are supplied! There is also a water fountain but it’s shut off considering it’s winter time, so make sure to bring your buddy some water.
