I attended MMA Institute for a year prior to moving. I have since visited many gyms across the country, and I still compete. There are a lot gyms out there where you will only find sparring partners. However, MMAI is an actual school, with quality instructors and students, where you will build a good foundation in every discipline. One criticism is that the gym needs more mat space.
