What a marvelous Valentine’s Day treat! I had the strawberry and brownie trifle and it was perfect. I loved that the whip cream wasn’t too sweet and it was so light and fluffy! My husband had the lemon bar and said it was delicious. I have a feeling whenever we visit Richmond this will be a regular stop.

Ok, so. I LOVED this place! Darling and sits back in an up and coming neighborhood. I have been looking forward to my cake balls all day and I must say-​amazing! I got the red velvet, «buzzy» (espresso) chocolate, coconut and birthday cake. Mmmmm. My boyfriend, however, was a little unsure. He isn’t gluten free but he ordered the gluten free cookie sandwich with chocolate frosting because it looked amazing. His first reaction was to say it was too bitter and he didn’t like it. He’s a cookie snob so he asked me to try it to see what he meant. While I got a couple small tastes where I could see what he meant, I liked it a lot! Especially for being gluten free. But it still looked good to him and he eventually finished it, haha. Keep up the good work!

Stopped by after eating dinner at Dot’s. A very small space but a great selection of different desserts. We picked up a Carmelita and a mud drop. Both were absolutely delicious! If you are on MacArthur for food in the evening or just in the area you should definitely give them a visit.
