Planned Parenthood

I wish I could agree with the other two ladies about how great the experience was here… this is my second time coming to this location and both times I’ve waited over 2 hours just to get a check up on a UTI. I’m still sitting in one of the rooms now, almost at my 3^rd hour, and they’re basically closed, as I write this trying to use what little patience I have left. I also should mention that both times I had to go to the front counter and ASK someone to come help me out, which they do right away only when I bring it to their attention. I am one of very few patients checked in here right now from what I’ve observed, and I really can’t understand why the wait could be this ridiculously long. Even if the nurse went on lunch, I would be more understanding if they could communicate that to me and let me know what’s going on. I’ve been to El cerrito, Hilltop, and Vallejo location and all 3 of them have not had me wait this long in all my years of being a patient with planned parenthood. I dont feel that my time is valued at all, and am very uncomfortable here, and the atmosphere from the responses I get from the workers just screams, «I’m only here to do my job, not to care what you’re in here for». I have given up on this location and am never returning. Only giving a star because they put up a good act of being nice when I talk to them.

I really like this planned parenthood. Besides having a little trouble with parking the the place is good. The office is clean, bathrooms, waiting area, and treatment room! Front desk girls are nice and helpful. The doctor was great as well. I only went in to have my birth control (nexplanon) checked out since I was worried that it might be broken, So I wasn’t there for too long. I waited about 30 minutes to get seen by the doctor so wasn’t bad at all! :)

Let me tell you how bomb they doctors are.. . I’ve been having my IUD, for seven years and I needed it to be tooking out. They were going to send me to HillTop (and I hate that fucking location) to get it done there. I have been once 2 years ago and it hurt ed so bad and they couldn’t find it. I was suppose to reschedule but I never did. Fast foward, I came into just a regular check up and things and she actually found and took out my birthcontrol… I was so fucking happy. like omg.I did not want to go through all that pain and attitude from the staff at
so freaking happy that she found it. They have always been really good. The only problem for me is the location but oh well. Hope this helped.
