Good employees, excellent service but EXTREMELY slow. Get ready to get about 5 hours shaved off your day. They couldn’t get to me for two days but paid me for the inconvenience which was amazing because I waited 4 ½ hours and got nothing done. Other than the slow, I recommend this place over any in central VA!

It’s a pretty standard plasma donation center. Nothing stands out as being great but, in my opinion, it’s better than the alternative here in Richmond. They pay extremely well for the first month, then back to the standard $ 25/$ 30 model after that. The way that they handle returning donors is different than every other center I’ve donated at, so pay close attention to the following. If you are a first time donor, you must go in as a walk in. Bring your state id, social security card and a piece of mail with your name and current address on it. For returning donors, you CAN go in as a walk in but be prepared to spend a good three hours of your day if you do. It’s better to set up an appointment with your screening employee in the booth before donating. This way you will be priority when you come in next. I can’t stress this enough, always get an appointment card and have it with you when you arrive for the appointment. Too often do they forget to add your appointment to the computer system and you have to prove that you have one. Overall it’s good, skilled phlebotomists but need an upgrade on their outdated appointment system.
