Stuck at the airport with keys in the trunk. Estimated 30 minutes. On time. Professional, polite and quick. Great service. Hopefully won’t need the service again, but I would recommend them.

I called Pop A Lock when I was locked out of my home because it was the first number that came up when I did a locksmith google search on my phone. They accepted my call and agreed to send someone out in 30 minutes. An hour later, I called them back only to find out they never had any intention of coming out to help me! Definitely not accurate in saying they provide 24 – 7 service.

Poor customer service. I was locked out of my car last week. When I realized it as I was getting my nails done, I sent my boyfriend a quick text asking him to call and send pop a lock out for me ASAP so I didn’t have to hang out too much longer since I had already been there for 2.5 hours. Apparently the service guy didn’t know where the nail salon was,(why wouldn’t a company like this have a GPS, smart phone app, or ATLEAST go old school and print off directions from google??) HOWEVER i didn’t answer because my nail tech was freaking out on me to not move my hands while they were drying. I called the employee back 10 minutes later, and left him a voicemail with detailed directions. I hadn’t heard back from him for 30 minutes so I decided to call him again. Oh well much to my surprise, «the call was cancelled» because I didn’t answer my phone right when he called. No one let me know ATALL that I was waiting for nothing. He didn’t even think about returning my phone call… Then he hangs up on me… so I call headquarters again. Okay. The receptionist seemed sweet at first, but was completely not understanding or sympathetic that I’ve been waiting for an hour for someone that wasn’t on their way to help me? I kindly and respectfully voiced my concern to her about no one calling me and telling me that I was waiting for a ghost, and she«hung up» after informing me that I will now, not only have to wait another 30 – 45 minutes, but I will also be charged an extra $ 10 to be so graced with their poor customer service. I don’t mean to say she hung up in the middle of my sentence, but definitely no goodbye nor the slightest apology. I wasn’t looking for someone to kiss my butt, I just felt like it was very poor customer service for a company that is clearly intended to help people in distress!??

We lost the key to our car while in Richmond. The Honda dealer wanted us to bring the car to them to make a new key. The car was in a high-rise parking garage so that would have been impossible. Instead, Popalock came to us, programmed a new key on-site and we were on our way. Great service. Total cost was about $ 200, which actually was less than the dealer cost and towing would have been. Some late model car keys cannot be programmed on-site but they will let you know.
