Quality Auto Service

This business is the successor to Jones Auto Service, a long-​time mainstay of Richmond car service, and the two partners who run the business now have done an excellent job servicing my vehicles over the years. I’m surprised that this will be the first review of this place, as in my experience it provides consistent good service and advice.
There were even occasions when, after an oil change, lube, state inspection & a couple of minor details, I escaped with a bill under $ 50. When that happens, I ask them if the American Association of Automotive Mechanics knows about this, and aren’t they going to be expelled?
Five stars.
The business is located near Willow Lawn («The Shoppes at Willow Lawn») just west of the Staples Mill Rd. intersection.
The best way to get here is to go west on Broad Street, just AFTER the turn-​off to Krispy Kreme, and to make a right on Mordie Road (the very next right). If you’re coming from the west, make a left on 50^th Street, just short of the Willow Lawn Dr. intersection, and make a right on Marshall St. (there’s a Chipotle on the corner with Broad St.).
BTW, do you realize that Staples Mill Road and Broad Street intersect once in Richmond, Va., and intersect again in Elkins, WV? Trivia time with this reviewer!
