Clean; spacious. I love the fact that they have the stamp program.(Buy 9 drinks, get one free.) Idk any other Quickly that does that, other than one in Oakland that does«Five Star.» I’ve only been to that location twice as of 9÷17÷15. Vicky, the person that was there, was turning her back, reading something, while she waited for customers. She shouldn’t have her back turned like that. Also, when I got home, I noticed that, that day Quickly closed at 9:30pm, but she told us that she was closing, *hint hint.* it was 9pm at the time… She saw us trying to rush out, but she could have said something like, «you don’t have to leave now, but just letting you know we close at 9:30.»… But she didn’t. Oh well, better luck next time…

How is this place in business? After eating dinner with my family, I came here to buy 2 drinks(super easy thai tea with mango jellies). There was no one in the shop except for 3 workers and no acknowledgement was made when I stood in front of the counter. While I stood there, the 3 were just chit chatting away. When they finally took my order, they were trying to figure out their system while one of them went back to make the drinks. When the girl came back, I saw the drinks had boba instead of jellies and the person who took my order caught it before I said anything. I didn’t get a drink for myself so I can’t determine their quality, but their service is enough to keep me away. Other Quickly’s usually only have one person working and if I’m the only customer, they fulfill my orders within minutes after I place it. I don’t know why there’s a need for 3 people if it takes quadruple the time for me to get only 2 drinks.

Not worth the effort. The atmosphere and the service are equally lackluster, unwelcoming and the food and drinks are subpar. I’ve been here several times, it seems as if the same people have been working there forever and yet can’t answer inquiries about products or get orders correct(and then tell the customer«that’s not what you said», miscommunication happens, accusatory attitudes are bad service). I and I suspect most others expect to receive what they paid for. How difficult is this when you only have two orders and no one else in line? No wonder it’s usually fairly empty when we visit. Back to the tea, it is far too sugary, the tea flavor is heavily masked under thick syrups, and several should-be-simple flavors are downright foul. Chocolate, Thai, jasmine, taro… you get the picture. The drinks are pricey for their size. For a dollar less I can grab a chubby bucket from Purple Kow in Berkeley(go there, do it). A lesson has been well learned I won’t be giving this place another try and will stick to the other nearby bubble tea shop and deal with the longer queue. That 4 bucks could have been spent better elsewhere.

This place ain’t good. If you have so many other boba options practically two steps away– why are you settling for this place? I gave this fake quicklys a few chances to impress me, but each time it fell short. Extremely short. I usually order a simple jasmine green milk tea when I’m trying out a new place because it’s a common staple that every tea place should master. But unfortunately, the tea is watery, bitter, and it tastes old. Their boba is incredibly hard, like it isn’t cooked all the way, and it’s sweetened with molasses or something because it has a bittersweet taste. Sorry fake quicklys, I won’t be coming back!

3.5 stars. Best thing: Passion fruit snow. They make the snow really fine so it’s not too icy and not too watery. It’s a soft slush similar to icees from old school movie theaters. It’s also not too sweet. Too bad their boba is too hard. Really, you need to have two sets of boba, the ones you put in cold drinks(these need to be softer), and the ones you put in warm drinks(these need to be QQ). Otherwise the ones in the cold drinks turn into rabbit pellets. The dried fruit is not that great. I love dried olives(those pink sugary things), but the ones here were too dry. I’ll still keep coming back for that passion fruit snow though!

Went there today and order a «large» mango black tea & mini octopus and it was disgusting ! I specifically said large mango black tea & when the drink came out and the octopus, she gave me a small drink and said I didn’t say large. I didn’t taste much of any mango flavor but just black tea. The octopus wasn’t fried all the way and used only little bit of the flour or tempura batter. Disappointment all over!

They didn’t have any popping boba, I was presented with choices that included green tea jelly, which I ordered, but was given green apple jelly. Also, there was a huge cockroach crawling around on the counter. Sadface.

Horrible! Don’t ever go here. I came in here after dinner at one of the restaurants which were nearby. My aunt wanted to come in for some of the dried fruits, and I was so excited when I noticed the Tapioca Drink, I’m not too familiar with the brand but I was willing to try it out. The cashier who took my order didn’t seem to know what she was doing, and the other girl had to actually come up front and finish my order. I made it clear I wanted a Cantaloup Snow drink with tapioca. We paid and waited. and waited… I understood the wait at first because the guy ahead of us ordered about six drinks and snacks. After all that wait they brought up my drink and it looked funny, they had made me a caramel snow drink instead of what I actually ordered. I told them that wasn’t what I ordered and with attitude the girl who proud out my drink said she’d have to consult with the other girl who took my order. If there was any problem with the language barrier the drinks are numbered– i had asked for the right number and repeated myself several times when I first placed my order! What really pissed me and my aunt off was that they then proceeded to help the customers after me, making their drinks first and only making my drink when the store was practically empty! After being there for over half an hour I demanded our money back and she said she was making the drink now, as if I cared after all that time. Then she proceeded to tell us she couldn’t refund our money back, and when we asked for a manager or an owner– guess who that was? Of course she was the manager and owner right? That’s what she claimed anyways. So point of this whole epic post? Unless you want to totally ruin your evening and waste your time standing around and not even get what you pay for– AVOID this place!!!

I was drawn in to this store because of their super cheap prices(I was there during their opening day when they were selling boba drinks for 99 cents, minus the actual boba which was an additional 50 cents). Their prices are still pretty cheap, but especially their weekly deals. They also have these punch/stamp cards but the weekly drinks do not count for them. Their drinks are either too strong or too watered down. If it’s slushed, it’ll taste watered down. If it’s Jasmine/Green/(Blank) Tea then it will be super strong. This excludes the flavored or Thai tea. I don’t like their food. It’s either too overcooked or not cooked enough. That seems to be a recurring problem for them… their food is either too cooked/strong or not enough/watered down. The girls who takes your orders are generally very mad/not talkative and there’s only 1 – 3 people working on average. If you’re there before/around 11:30 ish on an off-day, they might not even have their boba cooked yet – which is what happened to me today! No boba cooked at all! Bleh! P. S. They don’t ask for I. D’s if you’re using a credit card! But the cool thing is that they use an iphone/ipad for your cards!

My girlfriend and I came here to try their fried octopus, I must say it wasn’t as crispy as we’d like, and we certainly did not appreciate a fried COCKROACH along with it. We had left the area and unfortunately we were unable to confront the store associate. We definitely will NEVER return to that store. I very much recommend Bubble Loca located in the same area as Quickly. Bubble Loca has the best Milk tea, thai tea, strawberry smoothie, and mango smoothie. They also have more variety of tapioca and jelly. Please see the picture posted of the cockroach we found in our order.

Kind of a sketchy store that’s misleading. The prices are cheap but then again you get what you pay for. The pudding was very powdery. The Boba milk tea was rather strong. The coffee was the only thing that was okay. Seating is rather tight and service is run by one person. I shop around first before going here.

Never coming back here again! Quickly’s, tapex, and cha for tea or any other boba place will always redo your drink if the customer isn’t satisfied or give a full refund. I ordered a honey dew milk tea WITH boba. And what came out was a brown colored drink without any boba. I asked why the drink is brown because at any other place it would be green. The worker just kept saying«that’s how it is and it tastes like honeydew, try it». I told her she forgot the boba but that’s besides the point because I’m not satisfied with my drink. But she wouldn’t give me a refund or redo my drink, or even add boba for that matter. Never come here for boba. Big disappointment.

Worse than your usual Quickly’s. The drink itself felt watered down, and the boba itself tasted only slightly better than chewing on an eraser, Tasteless and lifeless, even more so than your usual Quickly’s. Haven’t tried any of the food here, and not sure if I will. The worker that took my order seemed like she’d rather be doing anything other than making drinks. The only plus came from the size, which is about 20% bigger than your normal drink. Head to J&S or TenRen instead.

So… one night after grocery shopping at Ranch 99, I was in a line to get some bubble tea inside the mall at J&S. As I was waiting for my drink to come out, I saw few people walking by with bubble tea in plastic cups that were not used by J&S. So I thought to myself«there must be a new bubble tea place that just opened!!!» After grabbing my fresh strawberry smoothie with tapioca which btw was not good… I headed to check out the new place. The interior looked like it was unfinished… it reminded me of Yoshinoya with all that orange. My roommate wanted to try their bubble tea and so she ordered a large taro milk tea with tapioca. We were kind of excited to see which one would taste better… MEHHHH Kobe’s bubble tea was VERYVERY bland… We didn’t like it ATALL. I don’t know if it’s because the business was new, but all the workers kind of seemed out of it, and looked confused. But I am a nice person so I understand! I have yet to try their bento and other items on the menu, so I am giving my two stars solely based on the bubble tea!!! Hopefully their bentos are good, and hopefully they can come up with better tasting bubble teas soon! I will definitely go back to try their bentos soon.

Kobe Bento took over the TW bestway spot. Quickly’s/Kobe Bento doesn’t have their signs up yet. just a .99 cents taro milk tea notice on the front window. Kobe’s menu is up on the back wall already. drink: taro milk tea(.99) –drink premade, very sweet, obviously from powder –maybe should have gone for the green tea or rose tea drink. drips: –quick efficient service by solo associate –boba .50 cents extra…

The $ 0.99 Milk Tea caught my eye advertising their Grand Opening. They were located in the Pacific East Mall in Richmond, CA. There was only one gal working in the store with a whole line of customers. I ordered the Taro Milk Tea and added Boba for $ 0.50 more. It was good. I probably would come back.

Thanks to Jerry C. for clarification of the relationship between Quickly and Kobe Bento. «I looked at the Quickly website and found this: „Kobe Bento is the largest Traditional & Innovative Japanese Bento Chain in the World. Quickly proudly team up with Kobe Bento as their beverage partner. This is the 4th Kobe Bento store is the United States under this New Business Formula.“ So the two chains have partnered up.»

The grand opening for Kobe Bento in Pacific east mall was Saturday, so there were $ 0.99 drink specials(price doesn’t include boba). Drinks are okay, staff is friendly, the place tho could use a little fixing up. Overall not bad for ~$ 1.50/drink after adding tapioca
