So disappointing! With all the various wineries in the area(Oakland, Livermore, Suisun etc.) both small mom and pop and large operations I see no reason for anyone to visit here. Please go some place else you will have a much better time. This was our second visit to the new tasting room. We waited 8 months anticipating the opening. During the first visit the owners were there and that makes all the difference. This is co-op and they share space with a hard cider and another winery. They offer four different flights of 5 tastes each which are $ 10 and include a hard cider and different wines and also exclusive fight or 5 tastings for $ 15. Unlike when the owners were there you cannot interchange wines between fights nor can you simply pay $ 10 or $ 15 and try 5 tastes of what you want. When I asked they server said«No you can only do flights nothing else and no substitutions». She was anything but friendly. My trouble was I could not find a flight I wanted to try three of the selection which were included much less all 5. However, I could have easily come up with 5 things I wanted to taste from the four flights. Needless to say we left. Additionally we also were there to buy tickets to next weekends fourth of July events which we did not do either.

R&B Cellars is an all time favorite and has been for years!!! Improviser(red blend) and their Sauvignon Blanc are the constant«go to» wines and their Cabernet Sauvignon served in a glass to enjoy or most yummy served with a well planned, gourmet meal for family and friends. Kevin and Barbara Brown, owners/winemakers, are a dynamic duo that you’ll be delighted to meet, get to know and enjoy their wines and their music – they well represent R&B with their Rhythm & Blues performances!

Improvisor, Improvisor, Improvisor! All I can say is that it never disappoints! While R&B wines are all yummy, I find that the Improvisor is an amazing value and suits a wide range of tastes, from connoisseur to casual wine drinker. It is a safe bet to give as a gift as I don’t have to ever worry if the recipient will like it or not!
