I don’t really know if you can qualify Richmond Square Mall as an actual«mall». The selection here is ridiculously sparse. They have the staples of Sears, Dillards, and JC Penny. Other than that the other stores shut down in a few years and half of the place is for lease. It’s usually dead every time I go. I just go to kill time and walk around. Though watch out for the power walkers there. There can be a lot of them scooting around attempting to get exercise.

Is it closing soon? I’m thinking that the whole mall is going to close because even on busy nights, it’s almost empty, even at Christmas time. It’s sadly amusing that they have a billboard you can see from I-70 touting the 20+ stores. I even feel bad for the seniors walking the mall. It’s so small that older people can walk the whole mall in 20 minutes.(I’d been a regular in malls with 250+ stores.) The only reason I go there is Carlos’ Pizza and OfficeMax. Update: Sears has closed and J C Penney isn’t that busy, ever. American Eagle and Aeropostale probably get the most business, even in such a poor town. Carlos’ Pizza seems to be closed, along with the coffee place.
