Richmond Super 8 Motel

Zero stars! Absolutely horrible. Quite possibly the worst hotel I have stayed in for a long time. Duke energy got our crews the rooms for two night as we were repairing storm damage to their power lines. Upon arrival to the hotel I immediately knew this place was a dump. It smelled very bad, like mothballs, mildew, and stale cigarette smoke. Got in my room and checked for bed bugs. I didn’t find any but I sprayed my mattress and sheets with permethrin just in case. There were cigarette burns all over my comforter and blanket and there were several mysterious stains on the mattress and sheets. The only positive thing was when I checked out.
