I want to thank Mike E. and his staff for the expert service on my 2013 Legacy. I wanted an oil change and I asked some questions about some other things that the dealership mentioned that I needed to change. They changed the oil and did an inspection on a bunch of other stuff and told me everything was fine, no need to spend money on things that don’t need to be changed. They saved me money and helped me to have worry free driving. They even rotated the tires. Thanks Mike, I won’t take my car anywhere else.

While there was nothing wrong with the service, and the people were nice– this is hands down the slowest oil change I have ever gotten. We dropped off the car at 8:30 AM on a Saturday and didn’t get called to pick it up until 2 PM, and this is after my husband called around noon to see what was taking so long and they told him they would «rush it». Convenient, but you could go anywhere else for a quicker oil change!

We have been taking our 4 cars to this place for the last 5 years but we won’t be going back. I took my Ford F 150 in for an oil change and tire rotation yesterday. I was given the option to either get a ride home or wait, so I chose to wait. The gentleman behind the desk told me that was fine and they would get me in right away. 20 minutes passed before they took it in at which point I waited… and waited. and waited. Be aware, no matter what, this place takes forever for an oil change but this one surpassed what was reasonable. After an hour and 20 minutes, I went to the desk, at which point, the guy behind the desk said «are you the guy with the 150?» I told him I was at which point he informed me that they had to order an oil filter and it would be 45 minutes to an hour longer. There was no apology, just a «you can wait or come back later». A place that does oil changes all day long doesn’t have an oil filter for the best selling vehicle in America? You cant go to the Iounge and let your customer know? I asked to speak to Chris, who was on the phone berating a supplier providing poor service while his own place was doing the same. He was aware of the situation but made excuses for why it took an hour and 20 minutes to inform me and why they didn’t have the filter. The one thing he didn’t offer was an apology for the inconvenience of a wait and a return trip to have a filter replaced. On the contrary, he was very defensive. I took my vehicle back today and explained why I was there. Chris just yelled to the front desk person to get me in, which they did. Again, not even an apology or even the decency to walk 15 feet to thank me for coming back after their screwup. Needless to say, we won’t be back and find it very disappointing. It’s up to you.

Chris has really gone above and beyond since taking over this place. He always gives great service, honest assessments, and will even personally give you a ride to and from your house when he needs to keep your vehicle. I’d recommend him to anybody, he has done our family right for years!

Usually very professional at the desk. I have gone to this location several times over the years, but I have had 2 bad experiences in the past 6 months. The first time was in January when trying to get my daughter’s car inspected. Of course it needed several things repaired, and needed new tires. They «fixed» the problem to the tune of several hundred dollars, and it still would not clear the «check engine light.» They said they had called the Ford dealership and used the part that they were instructed to use. I took it to Ford, and they fixed the problem for another $ 500+. I took the part that Ford removed and took it back to Richmond Tire, and they credited the price of the part toward the tires I had to buy. Fast forward to June, and my A/​C in my Nissan was out (and had been for a month.) Finally, on a Saturday I took it in and had Freon put in to the tune of $ 118 and was told it should last a little while but to bring it back the following week for an evaluation of the problem. Well that was the most expensive 4 mile ride I ever had in my life. I drove to my office and when I came out at 5:30, it was hot as a firecracker. I took it back the following week, and was told it was the evaporator and would cost $ 1300 to fix. I said «no, thanks» as the car is about 8 years old, and asked if they could refund some of the $ 118 I spent on Saturday, and was told by the young technician «well, we can take the Freon out of there,» and I said «what Freon??» I ended up taking the car for a second opinion from another mechanic that I have used for years (salt of the Earth) out in Katy, and he told me that yes the evaporator is a big job, but to let him look at it for a second opinion. I did, and he found that it was the condenser and fixed it for $ 513. Sorry Richmond Tire, but I won’t be back.

Avoid this garage if you care about your safety and your vehicle.

Very fast and did a great job this time but it is inconsistent.

Ridiculously Expensive and I suspect they try to take advantage of your ignorance (as they tried to do to a friend of mine when they gave her an estimate of almost $ 3,000 for some transmission work she had done elsewhere for $ 270). Much better and more reasonable places in the area. A friend recommended it and so I went and got stung badly. He must love throwing money on the ground.
