Attended the Wake Forest vs. Richmond basketball game in late December. I grew up in Richmond but hadn’t been to the Robins center since it was renovated. It’s an impressive building from the outside and blends in fairly well with the campus. The football stadium next door has better aesthetics. Entrance and egress were easy. The concourse is well lit with plenty of vending options. However when the lines get long it is hard to get through the crowds. Bathrooms were easy to find and I never had to wait to use one. My seats were in the upper rows and it was very dark up there. The renovations are nice and the large screens in the corners are great. It got plenty loud many times during the game which is a testament to having a smaller coliseum. Overall, a very good venue.

Évaluation du lieu : 4 Richmond, VA
I recently went back to the Robins Center(Richmond vs. Massachusetts basketball game). The Robins Center has been renovated since my last visit. The new renovations are cool. There are four huge video boards on each side of the arena. I like the video boards because you’re able to watch replays. I was impressed with all of the upgrades.
