From Mean to Lush and Green!
Jay from RVAScapes came to speak at our workplace for Earth day — He said he could transform any yard into something beautiful– of course I chuckled… because mine was bad — so bad in fact I was embarrassed for him to come for the consult…
Over run with weeds, out of control crabgrass and briers, rouge bulbs and well– the yard was just down right disastrous– My poor urban patch of paradise just had no redeeming qualities — I always longed to have friends over for a summer time back yard party… but not in my yard– no way — no how… that’s until Jay showed up for a consult…
During the initial consult we talked about what I wanted, colors ideas, suggestions — edible gardens, sustainable designs, native plantings, storm-​water run offs, rain barrels, pallet gardens– etc… he measured and within a few days, he had drafted a plan… which we fine tuned a few times.
Jay and I worked together for about 3 weekends and transformed my back yard into an oasis… I was (and still am) so totally blown away by how amazing everything worked and looked together. He truly is a designer with several green thumbs!
I can not believe the transformation — AND how reasonable the price. Jay is very fair and affordable for any homeowner’s budget!
