What a fun place?! I took my daughter here for the first time today and she loved it! She’s only five, so thankfully they offer Skate Mates — it’s kind of like a walker with wheels to hang onto to help keep from falling. She used it all of 20 minutes before taking off without it. She still fell… A lot… But the folks were so nice to her. The staff parole around ans help those who’ve fallen and even all of the other patrons and kids helped her up each time. They’ve got arcade games, lockers, a huge rink, snack bar, skate store, plenty of seating, laser tag and even a tiny rink for the little ones. Skates can be rented at the counter, along with skate mates. I remember going here as a kid, and it was funny to see that they still play the same games(hokie pokie, stop and freeze, etc.) and even play some of the same music. But, they’ve added in done up to date tunes, too. Ok, cost. It’s ok… Admission on a Friday afternoon is $ 4 if you have your own skates and $ 6 if renting skates. Other hours, I think it’s a couple bucks more. Skate Mates are $ 2. The snack bar is decently priced and they’ve got beverages, pizza, nachos, hot dogs and the like. The skate shop though is prettu pricey, with skates ranging from $ 60-$ 150… That’s a little much, in my opinion for a kid whose foot is going to grow in a couple of months. It was a great time, and we’ll definitely go again.
