My daughter has been going to Skipwith for 2.5 years. She loves it there. She loves the directors and the teachers. They treat her so well. The school is historic and beautiful. The rates are about the same all the other centers in the area and they provide breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack. In the summer they have educational fun field trips and a private pool, as well as in house events! We love Skipwith!

Skipwith Academy has helped me to raise a bright, kind, funny little boy. Their Montessori program starting at age 2 is something I’ve not seen elsewhere, and has made such a big difference in my son’s life. The teachers are all so kind and loving, and make me feel like he is in great hands when I can’t be with him. I drive out of my way every day to keep him there after we moved a bit further away. I could not be happier with the school!

Skipwith Academy is a great child care facility. The administration and staff are caring and professional. They have a Montessori program and both my children were well prepared for kindergarten. I have always felt that my children were safe and well cared for at Skipwith, and their playground is wonderful.

Both of my children have attended Skipwith since they were infants. My oldest will be beginning kindergarten in the Fall and I have no doubt he will be ahead of the game due to what he has learned at Skipwith. Although my daughter is only two, she has blown me away (just like my son did) with everything she has learned there. My children are always happy, they LOVE their teachers and are always happy to go to «school» in the morning. We feel as if they are an extended part of our family. It is nice to be able to have so much trust in a daycare. The staff at Skipwith truly gets to know your child and bases their teachings on them as an individual. We love it!

My daughter has attended this facility since infancy and has grown tremendously! The staff is consistently friendly and the children are happy. She is able to count higher than I was at the age of 2, knows hers ABCs, many colors, shapes and more! I feel confident that she will be more than ready for elementary school when the time comes and will not be surprised if she is ahead of her peers that weren’t as fortunate to have the learning experience that she has had at Skipwith. Some people say the cost of sending a child here is high. I say you get what you pay for which is quality care.

My kiddo loves this place! I walk in to pick her up everyday and I’m greeted with happy kids and friendly staff. The building is beautiful historic and homey. I couldn’t ask for better.

Send your child to Skipwith if you want them to be treated like cattle. I’ve seen kennels less crowded and noisy. The fees are high and the attitude is horrible. Do not trust them with your kids.
