Speed Towing

Jesse answered the phone efficiently, gave us a quote and followed through with everything. He called us to update us on where he was so we shouldn’t wait too long. He didn’t change the price when the job was done. His truck has a flat bed that holds the car so It was very expedient process. He charged a flat fee not like those companies that offer you a package and will charge you from the time they leave their garage to the time they drop off your car. Call him. He is very reliable. He is honest, a good person and not out to scam people.

The guy who runs this place is a Brazilian guy named Benedito. He doesn’t actually do the tows any more from what I’ve seen, now he’s the guy that picks up the phone when you call in. He’s a really nice guy and speaks THREE languages: English, Spanish AND Portuguese so it’s really helpful for even my uncles to call him up and have no trouble communicating the location. The guys that actually do the tows are also Brazilian and they have always been super cool. Though, I’ve only met two of the guys on separate occasions. They are very speedy as the name says and every time I’ve called them they’ve shown up with one of those flat bed tow trucks which I think is nice because in the past I’ve had my muffler’s tail pipe bent by those other kind of tow trucks. I’m sure they know me by face and even more-​so by location — my car always seems to get stuck at school. I’ve never had trouble filing paper work with my insurance for the tows, so that’s also a plus.
Bottom line, give Speed Towing a call if you’re ever stuck somewhere in the bay area, they give quick estimates and they tend to be less expensive and quicker than other places I’ve called. Though, if you are stuck in San Francisco during rush hour, you’re better off calling a tow truck out there because it will end up being faster and cheaper (Benedito’s tip, not mine). I appreciate the honesty.
A side note, they also offer lockout services and jump starts.
