Nothing to say that hasn’t already been said — love having this place close by. Just wish we had a bit more money to spend on wine! Still enjoy popping in now and then for a bottle, a six-pack of local beer or some fresh bread, and the regular wine tastings are always a nice place for a chat.

I have become a huge fan of this wine store. Everyone who works there is very good at targeting the right wine for a dinner or just for sipping on. All of their wine is very reasonably priced. And they have a small yet great beer selection as well. I highly recommend this place.

The proprietor was very helpful in helping me find the right wine for the occasion, and very friendly to boot.

EXPERIENCE: I took a wine course at my college and my professor recommended Strawberry Street Vineyard. I never visited the shop before it changed hands(in 2011 I think), but I find it hard to believe the quality has changed. The current owner has always been incredibly helpful and thorough in assisting me in finding the right bottle. Whether you have a grape variety in mind or just a few subtle notes in flavor, she can narrow down your choices and give you a anecdote on each. Even with the limited size of the store, I find that their selection is far better than most area wine shops, and the prices are very reasonable. PRO: — Selection/Selection– Great choices in the 10 – 20 range — Local — Friday Night Tastings– 5pm-8pm — Helpful Staff — Dog Friendly?- I’ve seen people come in with their pet before CON: — Parking– Can be tricky some days BOTTOMLINE: Big things in a small package with a friendly bow.

Double win for Strawberry street. Great wine selection with a friendly owner and the perfect compliment to a pizza from 8 ½. I’m sure if you ask the owner, he’ll tell you a great wine for their red pizza!

Living in the fan has its perks and being within walking distance of this place is awesome. The man who runs the store is super friendly and everytime I have walked in the store, he has greeted me and offered endless advice, if needed. Although, there isn’t a huge selection of wines, it’s more wine than strawberry street market has and I think the selection here is much broader and sofisticated yet priced for everyone. There are always bargain wines that he gets in and changes frequently and there is a small cheese selection in the back along with beer(I didn’t even know they sold beer) but they do! Definitely a fan of this place.

Strawberry Street Vineyard is a great, locally owned wine and cheese store. The selection isn’t huge, but every item has been hand-picked. If you get a chance to chat with the owner, ask him to suggest a few bottles. He really knows his stuff and thoroughly believes that you don’t have to pick the most expensive bottles to enjoy wine. In fact, this store has lots of bottles under $ 20, which is great for trying new varieties. There’s also a nice cheese case and some other gourmet foods for sale. Every Friday the owner hosts a wine tasting from 5 to 8 p.m. where you can try several wines. This is just a little local gem that’s a great place for finding fine wine.
