I had been going here for awhile, bc there is one tech there who does an amazing brow wax. I got a full acrylic set a few weeks ago, and the tech did a horrible job – acrylic was applied thickly and sloppily, and I had hardened acrylic on my cuticles which *I* had to dremmel off myself at home. The nail polish lasted a good week – which I’ve NEVER before experienced with acrylics. My natural nails, I’d expect a short polish life. I said I would not go back. Yesterday, I was in a time crunch, and had to get a fill done somewhere during my lunch break. Reluctantly, I went to Sunshine Nails, hoping I’d get a different tech. I did, and while she did a reasonable job on the fill… the POLISH was horrible. All the polish options – color AND brand – are limited and the selection is poor. The OPI pink polish I chose had been diluted so much that 2 full coats AND the topcoat wiped away easily with a paper napkin. A PAPERNAPKIN. I’ve seen children’s «play» nail polishes with better staying power. Look, I get that these kinds of places usually«dilute» their polish with acetone, esp the«expensive» brands like OPI. But for polish to be diluted so much that it barely clings to the nail after extended drying time, and begins to look bad(on ACRYLICS! Nail polish usually lasts when I have acrylics!) after only a week??? I question why the tech attempted to offer a «treatment» that she said would«make the polish last longer»??(I tried to find out if this«treatment» was complimentary, but her English was lacking enough where I couldn’t tell if it was or not. I politely declined.) Incidentally, I noticed 2 potential customers come in while I was there, try vainly to find decent polish, then leave without being serviced at all. I’m reading the other reviews re: the polish quality, and I now know I’m not imagining things. They literally lost those 2 customers(who were going to get full acrylic sets, mind you) but certainly didn’t mind talking s***t about them after they left, I noticed. When she finished my fill, she didn’t even bother to take the big fluffy brush and brush away all the acrylic grit I had on both hands. Sometimes it’s the little things like this, where the not-caring just gets to be too much. I won’t be back, unfortunately, for good this time.

I’ve been going here for about 4 years. They are awesome. Anybody that is busy can become overwhelmed, However these women handle the hustle and bustle flawlessly with grace. As long as you are patient you get what you want. Quality takes time and they do great quality work. Definitely the ONLY place I go. And I recommend Van highly. She is the best!!!

LOVE this place! The ladies are friendly, and I think its the mom that does my nails, she’s great! I’ll wait for her and only her lol. Great polishes and manicure last 2 – 3 weeks easily

This use to be my favorite place to get my nails done. They were always clean, professional and the work was expectional. Since the growth in their clientele the service have went down. My sister and I went in for a pedicure and the polished chipped in three(3) days. When I went back the owner«Van» said because I work out the polished chipped(which is a lie) I got my chin waxed and they tried to rip off my entire chin with one strip. Overall this place is clean, but they are getting greedy and the quality of the polish sucks.
