One of the very few places that claims authentic Mexican flavor and food and actually has it.
This place has good food and it IS authentic. Even though I’ve only had their tortas ahogadas, tacos de barbacoa, and tacos dorados de papa y frijoles. They have many other dishes to choose from and I’ve yet to try them. But the dishes I have eaten here are pretty delicious. Their hot sauce for the tortas ahogadas is super duper spicy and I love it! It’s so spicy that it gives me hiccups every time. But that’s what a Torta Ahogada is all about. Lol
One of my favorite places to visit in Richmond when I’m craving some homeland cuisine. I do recommend it. The owners are friendly too.
