I had The Maids come out to clean my house that I moved out of. The people I made the appointment with were very helpful and friendly and I appreciated that. They also accommodated my schedule which was nice as well. I will start with the positives. Kimberly the leader of the cleaning group was very nice, helpful and cheerful and she made it overall a better experience. The girls did a great job on my bathroom toilets and showers, they were cleaner than I’ve ever got them and my sinks and counters were great too. The bathrooms are a hard part to get clean(in my opinion) so I was happy I paid to have that done. A few things that I was not so happy with(and I hate to complain because people work hard) were 1) when I did my walk through my oven had not been cleaned. Kimberly did immediately apologize and took care of if right away, so no big deal. Had I of not checked it though, it would have went uncleaned. 2) My glass stove top stove had been wiped off of crumbs, etc but the burns from food were not removed. Something super simple to get off with a sponge. 3) The part that was really disappointing and why I am only giving three stars is because my floors were not clean. Yes, they took a quick vacuum or broom to the tile to get what you could see off the floor, but that was it. I actually got out my own broom and started sweeping the floor and swept up all kinds of things. I have long blinds that go all the way to the floor and there was still dead bugs, etc. under them. I asked if they were cleaned because I showed them what I swept up and they said yes. Also in my pantry that has tile there were things like a little ketchup that had been spilled before I moved that was still there. Had it been mopped that would have been gone. So my kitchen floors did not look or feel clean. All my upstairs and master bedroom carpet floors looked clean and had the vacuum lines but for some reason my living room didn’t. If the vacuum left the marks on all my other floors, why not the living room? There was still stuff on the floor, so possible forgotten? They told me they did, but I didn’t see any evidence of it. They did some things very well, but I feel other things were lacking. Still probably better than most maid services out there though.

As a Realtor I have been MOST impressed with The Maids. They clean the areas most individual maids never consider. They use all their own Eco-friendly products and make a home shine! Once the job is completed they make sure the homeowner is happy. They are willing and happy go back over an area if requested. They are truly professional & punctual. Not only do I refer them to all my clients but I use them for my own house. They cost a little more than some services but they are worth it!

I was kind of disappointed with my overall experience with The Maids. I originally called and gave all of my information — about 5 – 10 minutes of conversation — and was told they would need to call me back the next day to schedule. When they called the next morning, I swore they were talking about a different call. They thought I had requested that no one enter my laundry room, which I never did and that I have a 2 bedroom house, I have 3. They went ahead and booked me for 2pm on the day I wanted but never confirmed my address or anything, so I was half expecting them to show up at someone else’s house… whoever has an off limits laundry room. Then the day of cleaning I receive a phone call from the team themselves telling me they are running late and won’t be there until 1pm. I was once again wondering whose house they were talking about since I specifically asked and confirmed a 2pm appt. Luckily my boyfriend works from home and could be there cause otherwise I’d have been stuck at work. Then when they arrive my boyfriend calls me and they’re asking which bathroom and which bedroom we want cleaned. I specifically told them that we were getting their service for a complete thorough deep clean because we are about to list the property and I was told many times over that they would«hand wash every bathroom floor» and touch every surface of the house. So now while at work I had to call the main office who had to have the owner call me to clear up the whole situation, and no one could tell me why the details of my clean were not understood. Overall, the house was ok. It took them longer than expected and I overheard them say numerous times that they had to go back and redo some area which seemed highly inefficient to me. Some areas were great such as the kitchen but after they left you began to notice the little things that they missed. In my small bathroom there was some dry wall dust on the floor from a recent install and it just looks like they got it wet and smeared it all over the floor, dry wall mud. There are numerous baseboards and doors that clearly were not wiped down which I was told over and over again would be done. Overall, it’s clean but I don’t feel like it was worth the money and I feel like 4 girls should have accomplished much more in 3 hours, my house was clean when they got there, it just needed a good thorough scrubbing. To further reinforce that they did not listen to me, this morning I got a call from them trying to schedule my next clean since they said I requested recurring service… once again, never did I mention that.
