I can’t say enough good things about Lorie and Linda — we sent our first born to Toot-A-Lou and our second born is currently enrolled. Lorie and Linda provide a loving and caring environment for the kids, take great care/pride in the food the provide, and have a great home-based facility for the kids to learn and grow. When at home, our 2 yr. old asks about«Lorie an Linna» and when he gets to see them again — a super endorsement that our 2 yr. old loves them so much. Our 2 yr. old has an egg and tree nut allergy which is super difficult to accommodate(even restaurants have a hard time), but Lori has been super diligent about reading all labels and ensuring the safety of our child — we haven’t had to think about this issue twice! They really provide the best of both worlds; a fun/loving environment and one that parents can trust 100%. Two big thumbs up for Toot-A-Lou!

My daughter has attended Toot-A-Lou for 6 months now, since she was 6 months old. I cannot say enough good things about Lorie and Linda at Toot-A-Lou but if you are searching for a loving environment for your child, your search has finally ended! Lorie and Linda have both been very warm and patient with my daughter. She has gone through many transitions regarding sleep and eating patterns during her first year yet they have always catered to my baby girl’s needs. Lorie has even held her in her arms during naps when my little one just wouldn’t sleep on some day’s in the pack-n-play, to make sure that she gets some sleep. They are very generous with the hugs and kisses, which I really appreciate because I want my daughter to feel like she is in a safe and loving environment, even when I’m not around. My daughter never cries when I drop her off and I believe it is because she truly loves Lorie and Linda, just like family members. Lorie provides healthy snacks and meals and she does not allow the children to watch tv during the day, instead they play outside on the play structure, do arts and crafts, sing, dance, read, play with toys inside, look at the animals and many other activities. They are a play-based curriculum which I love because my 6 month old didn’t yet have the attention span to sit and recite the alphabet and really still does not. Children learn best through play, in my opinion. Toot-A-Lou is exclusively for children 3 years and under so I don’t have to worry about much older and larger children bullying my little one. Lorie also has a small group and each child gets a ton of one-on-one attention; another reason I never worried about leaving my six month old in their care. Also, they are actually open from 8am-5pm.
