Toshi Image Studio

Toshi is very nice and friendly guy. He gave my boyfriend a wonderful haircut, even thought he was about to close the salon. Pretty studio, and comfortable environment. We didn’t notice there is such a place like this in Richmond.
My boyfriend was looking for someone who knows how to cut asian men’s hair in East Bay. He usually go to SF to do his hair cut. However, the stylist was booked for the next entire month, and he really needed a hair cut. That’s how we find Toshi!
He knows how to do with asian hair styling,
he also do make up for special event.
the price is pretty good deal.
For man is 55, woman is 65
Also, we really enjoyed talking to him.

This review is long over due. I’ve been going to Toshi for years. I went to him initially because he knows how to cut asian hair. Some stylists do, some don’t — Toshi is an expert. He also does make-​up as well, which is bonus. He really does a great job cutting my hair, and after all this time knows exactly what I like. Besides being an awesome stylist, he is just a fun and sweet person. I’ve followed him around the Bay area to the various salon’s he has worked out of over the years. His current salon in Richmond is super cute with a view of the water. It is a bit of a drive out to Point Richmond, but the upside is parking is no problem. There is a lot right out in front, so you can just pull up and park instead of hunting for a spot and/​or worrying about meters.

I’ve spent years searching for a stylist who knew how to cut thick, curly asian hair. I’m so glad to have finally found Toshi! His new salon in Point Richmond right on the marina is so peaceful and well worth the trek. Highly recommended!

I always enjoy a hair appointment with Toshi. He always know just what to do, and gives good advice for upkeep. The gorgeous new salon in Richmond makes it an extra special visit. I’ve been a client for about 10 years and highly recommend. His warmth, exuberant personality, and skills will keep me coming back.
