I called Dr. Shaw’s office after a horrible experience with a well known surgeon in D.C. I was so upset when I called and asked if there was any way I could speak to Dr. Shaw so that I could get an honest opinion from another professional, knowing that the surgeon who did the procedure was not going to be 100% truthful. I had never had filler in my lips and the OTHER Doctor overfilled them, as well as altered the shape due to filler being outside of my lip line. First, let me say the staff at this office are above and beyond and extremely personable! Love Laura Beth When I called she spoke with me for probably a good thirty minutes just reassuring me. I felt like I was speaking with a friend. She made sure I would get an appointment before the weekend so that I could relax knowing everything would be okay. Upon my first talk and meeting with Dr. Shaw, I immediately felt I was in the right place. He is a wonderful listener and very down to earth. He was very kind, his technique is gentle, and he always warns you before the needle prick (not that it hurts in the slightest!) Almost instantly my lips were better after the injections he did to dissolve the filler. By the next day my smile was no longer distorted and I didn’t feel like I needed to hide. Thank you so much Dr. Shaw for giving back my confidence, listening, caring about my situation, and treating me well.

Found him on the internet because I didn’t know of any ENT’s. Dr Shaw gave me time, respect, and was so thorough explaining how he can help me. His staff was very nice and there was never a wait for appointments. I ended up having sinus surgery and he did an amazing job. I can finally breathe after years of not being able to. I am extremely pleased and I highly recommend him.
I do recommend however, they offer a pre-​op packet with pre– op instructions. Luckily it all worked out smoothly. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family-(and have already) He pays attention to detail and cares about his patients.

Make sure you ask every time you present to the clinic you know the cost because they will not do so. Dr. Shaw presented me with a treatment plan cost for keloid scar that included postoperative treatment. But ended up charging me extra for postoperative treatment without consenting to charges. It would have been nice to have been provided the postoperative cost prior to postoperative treatment. I paid but will not be returning.

Dr. Travis Shaw came highly recommended from a physician friend of ours. My husband had surgery on the interior aspect of his nose to open an otherwise blocked airway he has had since birth. We have had nothing but warm, positive, professional interactions with Dr. Shaw and his staff. Everyone has been amazing. My husbands surgery was without complication and when following all post op instructions his external appearance and healing process was miraculous. He had minimal swelling and bruising and was back to work in a week.

Dr. Shaw is very good and the staff. He has very good bedside manner & wants to help as much as he can. I am giving 2 star because the treatment that I went through left me no where. I have a scar on my nose because of nose piercing when I was kid. I am 29 now. He tried PRP (couple of time) to get rid of the scar, which didn’t help at all. I would recommend him for sure, but may not be for the same surgery that I went through.

Had my first Visit with Dr Shaw after seeing a plastic surgeon in DC for Botox for over 8 years. I love my results! The staff is welcoming and friendly and I couldn’t be happier! Even booked my next appoint 3 months out! Would recommend him to everyone!

I have been getting dermal fillers for 5 years with the same surgeon, until I moved to Richmond. I was referred to Dr. Shaw and heard great things about him, but I was skeptical about seeing someone new. From the moment I walked into the door, I had the best experience. The staff is so friendly and personable. Not only that, I had the best service I’ve ever had in 5 years. He’s such a perfectionist and made me look so natural!

I was professionally greeted by the front desk into a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. Dr. Shaw was returning from surgery and was not in the office however, he did return early and saw me right away!
Dr. Shaw talked to me like a human being, showed true interest in my answers, and looked me in the eyes the entire time we spoke. He explained his background to me and how he learned patient interaction from watching his father practice medicine.
I was there to receive my first ever Botox treatment. Dr. Shaw explained everything he was going to do, talked to me the entire time and calmed me. (Though…the treatment was much less painless than I’d expected!)
I was thrilled with the results! I looked very natural and «unaltered»…which is what I was going for.
I would highly recommend Dr. Shaw and plan on returning for more services myself.
