Good variety of fresh seafood at reasonable prices. We picked up a half bushel of steamed hard shell crabs this weekend and every one of them was good. We’ve gotten oysters and fish from here in the past and have been pleased.

I love this fish market! It’s a failure on my part that I don’t go more often. The service has always been welcoming and knowledgable. It’s become our go to spot for whole, dressed trout and for trying something new. I’ve become a huge fan of Arctic char as a result, picking it over sockeye salmon when it’s available. As a general rule, I don’t buy many things prepared from anywhere, but today I noticed the «candied salmon» in the case and decided to give this a try. Between my husband, son and I it was gone before the short drive home. It is genuinely some of the best smoked salmon we’ve ever had.

I recently started making sushi I went by the shop to ask if they handle sushi grade fish. The man behind the counter was very helpful and explained that they had number 1 grade tuna and also that a local individual who taught a sushi class used they’re salmon in his class. They explained the safe handling of the fish for sushi by freezing to kill parasites if it was done before. I’m will be a repeat customer for sure.
