VA PrideFest is a family-friendly, amazing day of music, vendors, great food and drinks, and celebration of Virginia’s diverse community of LGBTQ people and their straight allies!

I didn’t stay long as I was festival hopping(mentioned in an earlier post)…but this event was super fun. I definitely could’ve hung out at this event a lot longer than I did. The music was spirited, the people were having a blast, and everyone was just HAPPY looking. I look forward to hanging out a little bit more at the next pride festival. Lots of cool venders, entertainment, and space to sit back, relax, and enjoy the moment.

Had a great time vending«Proud To Be Me» t-shirts @ VaPride this year. Looked like rain but, it ended up being perfect weather for an outdoor event. Met VSU’s LGBTA organization. They’re on their second year as an organization. Great young ladies that I hope to work with in the future. Nice seeing VA recognize the diversity we have. It’s my second year coming and the second year since I designed the«Proud To Be Me» t-shirt design. It was great seeing last years customers wearing my T-shirts.

So glad RVA has a pride event! A bigger(or more of them) beer truck and more streamlined wristband situation would be great but other than that — kudos, Richmond!!!
