VA Skywire

Its so bad it isnt even worth the $ 0 that i pay for it each month. The service sucks. The customer service does not solve any solution they just simply appologize for their shitty service. Do NOT give these people your money! I would be in such support for a company that could cut comcast in the internet marketplace but these guys are somehow even worse. Unbelievable!

3 days and still no cable, no call back from customer service.
Dropped me 2 boxes instead of one, only to tell me that I need to pay a monthly payments on the extra box or pay to ship it back to them.
Terrible service that will only try to con you.
I STRONGLY do not recommend.

Wow. Subpar doesn’t even begin to describe this company.
I’ve been in the process of setting up an account with VA Skywire for two days now. The first day, I called and never even got the chance to speak to an actual human being. After being on hold for about 20 minutes, I hung up and tried calling back again. I was on hold for another ten minutes. Then I decided to leave a message for the «preferred callback» voicemail, but the mailbox was full. (Awesome!) (Kidding.) So, I called back for a fourth time and pressed the number for technical service. (Maybe I’ll speak to a real-​life person & could be transferred to customer service.) The tech guy was less than enthusiastic. He said he was «unable» to transfer me and asked me if there was anything he could do to help. I explained I simply wanted to set up an account for the internet /​cable package. He told me he couldn’t set up my account because «only customer service can do that» and that I should «try to give customer service a call back and maybe they’ll answer». I decided I’d had enough of Skywire for one day and told him that’s all I needed, to which said, «Is there anything else I can help you with today?» (Is that a joke?)
Day Two:
I called back the next day and waited on hold for about 20 minutes and much to my surprise, somebody answered. It was another tech person. (Are you sure a customer service dept exists?) I explained to him that I am trying to set up my account at my new apartment. He told me to plug my laptop into the ethernet. I explained I wanted the internet /​cable package. He said he didn’t know much about the cable setup (because «cable is provided by Directv, not Skywire»). When I asked to be transferred to someone that could answer my questions about the Directv portion of the package, he told me he couldn’t connect me to anyone at this time because they only speak directly to customers when an inquiry has been filed. (I know, I’m still in shock that Skywire is still in business.) Anyway, he told me he wrote down my questions and would submit an inquiry, but that they only do callbacks on M-​F from such and such hour to such and such hour, except for lunchtime which is at… blah blah blah…
So. Again. I’m still not setup for internet /​cable. Unreal.
