HORRIBLE patient care!!! The Doctor only wants to give out narcotics & the Nurse Prationer Lisa is very phony, she’s nice to you during your appointment then makes rude comments about you to the staff. I’ve been taking my Dad to this office for 5+ years but after his last visit we filed a complaint with his insurance Dept. of Labor and notified the State Medical Board. The staff has constant turn around & the office manager Mrs. Cabayan aka «Katie» is rude & has hung up on me several times. The Caucasian gal at the front is also rude to say the least. My Dad was finally seen last week as they rescheduled him 4 times because the doctor was on vacation again. The only two gals in this office that actually knew what to do was Joan & Maryland but I’ve not seen them in a month or so, so I’m assuming they left just like the rest of the staff. If you want decent healthcare for your workers comp injury don’t come here!!!

To long of a wait for doctor your paper work always wrong can’t never get help for the pain I’m in.

After being injured at work & seeing several doctors, it was determined that I needed a specialist. I was referred to Dr. Vatche Cabayan. Dr. Cabayan, is the only one who figured out what was wrong with me. On our initial visit, he gave me a 2 hour+ extensive exam & evaluation. That was in 1992. He has been treating my work injury ever since. I highly recommend him.
He’s good and has ALOT of patients, so sometimes there is a wait. He has taken on additional associates to help with the patient load. He may not personally be available, because he is a QME and may be doing specialized exams, reviewing patient files & compiling reports for workers comp cases or may be in surgery.
Like I said, I’ve been being treated by him since 1992, and I find him to be a VERY competent doctor in his area of expertise.

If I could give them negative stars I would. The Pittsburg/​Antioch office is not professional at all. They blow you off just to get you out of the office, do not answer your questions and do not give you the attention the patient needs. My Mom recently visited this location and had the worst experience ever. She didn’t even spend 15 minutes with her and complained that she had not had her lunch yet so she was not spending more time on her. Go eat your heart out, we will not be coming back!

Dr. Cabayan did me right on my QME exam! Docs like him are few and far between in the work comp system. Thank god good men like this exist to overrule insurers and their quack doctors and to fulfill the treatment needs of the injured worker and help get us back to normal and back to work!
