I would not recommend this shop. Not a reliable business, which is important especially for a business that fixes vehicles.

If ZERO STARS were possible, that would be the case. VA Collision Center is the last place I would take my car if I ever need body work done in the future. Furthermore, I will be contacting AAA and recommending that they immediately cease from referring their clients to VaCC after my experience with them. The only reason I had my totaled car towed to VaCC is because AAA had them on their list of recommended shops. I don’t expect this to be the case for long.
To make a long story short, VaCC had my car for 3 months and some change (October 2, 2014 — January 10, 2015) and did not attempt one single repair during this time. This information was given to me per the owner, Clint.
What makes things worse is during these 3 months, the manager of shop (Chris) communicated about 2 – 4 times per week to update me on the car. Excuses included: ordered the right part, wrong year; wrong part, right year; right part, wrong model; etc. This man had the audacity to call me weekly and give me false updates on a car that he had no so much as laid a finger on. Twice he told me the car would be ready by the end of the week. The audacity to claim a car would be ready that he had not even worked on.
Per phone call with Clint, the manager Chris has since been fired because apparently I’m not the only one experiencing this negligence. An owner that lets a car sit in his shop for 3 months with not a single repair attempted is shady, incompetent, and most of all — lazy — in my eyes. The shop receptionist also informed me that Clint will be very busy at the shop this week handling several issues similar to mine because of Chris’ negligence. Nice.
Owner Clint might be attempting to right his wrongs by firing Manager Chris and taking a more proactive approach in the business he owns (imagine that), but I would still take my car to any (seriously, any!) other shop if at all possible. If you have absolutely no other options, I recommend visiting the shop frequently and physically seeing — with your own eyes — the repairs they’re claiming to have made.
Shops like this give car repairmen bad reputations. Stay away.

Greatest accident repair group in Richmond. My car has been in a few accidents. Each time Va Collision got my car to like new again. Plus they take the stress out of the process. 5 STARS ALL THE WAY!!!
