I bought a condo and every room in it needed paint as did the trim(ok honestly the trim still needs paint. t’s a total pain the ass to to and I haven’t yet). I spent a long time looking at samples and talked to a couple employees about my best options. I didn’t have trouble with colors as that just takes time to think through what would look good, but for the trim, there are like 400 shades of white and cream. How do I know what to choose!!! So they showed me a few of the favorites and then I noticed that the trim in the shop itself was a nice shade so I asked about that, and Mascarpone it was. I’m from the DC area and our paint stores are tiny and cramped(but with helpful staff) but I like coming here when I’m in Richmond because you can sit and think and they have large sample swatches(for some colors) you can take home and compare in the rooms you’re thinking of painting.
