This is honestly the worst pharmacy I have ever used. Since having my son 12 weeks ago, I’ve needed 4 – 5 prescriptions filled for either him or myself. Every single time I’ve been told they would be ready, I go to pick them up and they are not ready. I end up waiting 15 – 20 minutes every time. They do not respect people’s schedules, or honor the time they say the rx will be ready for pick up. It’s a task just to get out with a newborn, and to have to sit and wait either in the drive through or in the store every time is so annoying after I’ve been told it’s ready. I will not continue to use this pharmacy. Yesterday was the last straw.

Horrible pharmacy went to have a prescription filled for my daughter who needed to medicine for school over a week ago. Was initially told that it needed to be approved but will be ready in 2 days. 2 days later was told it would be ready the following Tuesday which was the first day of school. Went there on Tuesday to pick up medicine and sat at the window for a few minutes while they«checked» for the prescription just to hear that it would be ready Wednesday. Today is Wednesday over a week later than we dropped the prescription off and when we called the first time they said that it needed to be approved the same thing that was told to us the day we initially dropped it off and to check back tomorrow! We called back to see what the hold up was on the prescription and found out that it was never even ordered! Needless to say now I’m on my way to pick up the prescription and have it filled elsewhere and my daughter still won’t have the medicine that she needs. This has been the worst and most unprofessional experience I have ever had and will never deal with Walgreens in any way, shape, or form!!!

I have been in this particular Walgreens only twice… However, the other night on a Social Network, a friend talked about how he got the«Shingles» shot. Since I am now over 60, and I have heard if you had Chicken Pox when I was a kid… you have the Shingles Virus in you and it can activate at anytime, and once it does… it can be very very painful and debilitating for weeks to months. So, I decided to call the Walgreens, and I spoke with the Pharmacist. It was about 8:30p. He asked about my Insurance Card, and took the time to obtain all the information needed. He said, he wanted to get me into the system so when I did come in, I would not have to do it ALL over again. I did not feel rush, as I was not prepared to do this, as I needed to get the card and he said he did not mind waiting. I really appreciated this since MOST everyone seems to be in a Rush to help you and than push you aside. I would say I took about 10 min. of his time… Once I was in the system, he told me what my cost would be as appose to my cost without the Insurance. I told him I would be in the next morning, and he said he would be there… So, I went early the next morning, and met the Pharmacist. He had me fill out the forms for the shot. I asked if there would be any after effects and he told me what I could expect. So, I went for it… I have to say, I would go back again as they were right on with respect and how they treated you as a Customer and Patient. He was extremely Professional, and I felt very comfortable with him taking the time to answer my concerns and questions. For those who are over 60, I also recommend you take this shot. I never had Shingles, but from those who said they have had it… It does not sound like something I would want to have…
