Yves Delorme

By far my favorite store at Stony Point. I only purchase my linens and towels from here. I have always thought that those are two areas where you should always splurge and Yves Delorme helps me do that. Yes the prices are high, but you will have these pieces for a lifetime. No matter how many times I wash their towels, they retain their color and softness. The sheets are the same way. The employees are all incredible and go out of their way to make sure you get exactly what you want. Today, Shannon let me know that there’s a sale coming up on bath items so I didn’t buy everything at full price today. Their colors are also the same throughout the seasons and different collections, so you are really encouraged to mix and match.

Yves Delorme is one of Richmond’s most upscale linen retailers. The Stony Point store is our only location of this French company whose U.S. headquarters are actually in Charlottesville, Va.
The store manager at the Richmond store is very friendly and happy to help if you’re looking for anything special. You’ll find bed linens, table linens, pajamas, bathroom linens and coordinating items like candles and décor items. Over the years, the collections are always designed in coordinating colors so you can collect different patterns and use them together. New patterns debut every year.
The best time of year to shop at Yves Delorme is in early July. During the annual Bastille Day sale everything is 20 percent off. Pretty cool!
This is the place for elegant French linens.

I love to browse in here, but can rarely afford any of their exquisite French linens. I usually take notes on what I like and look for it in France, as I make an annual trip and always bring back a suitcase of stuff.
It’s one of the few places in town that stocks Provencal tablecloths on a regular basis, and I love that French Country vibe.
They carry bed linens as well, but I can usually find these at discounters like Marshall’s and TJ Maxx for a third of the full retail price.
