Zooom Printing

I’ve given them several orders and for the most part they are very responsive and turn around jobs very quickly. Their quality of work is excellent. The color comes out perfectly and they are helpful with familiarizing you with items. With a couple of orders though, I’ve had issues with getting a response about a quote. I’ve only worked through one person so perhaps she leaves the office regularly, although an automatic response would be nice. Other than that, I’m impressed with the price and quality.

I had the absolute worst customer service experience of my life with Zooom. I was doing a print job with them that had a sensitive deadline. From the moment that I gave them the job, I communicated that the deadline must be met, and checked in periodically to confirm that everything was on track to meet it. Throughout the process, they assured me that everything was fine. Then, at 5pm on the day that the job was supposed to ship out, they contacted me to say that the deadline was «not happening.» No apology was offered.
When I called the owner to pursue the matter, he immediately became defensive and tried to blame the problem on me. Within moments, he was shouting personal insults at me and screaming «I don’t care!» when I told him that this was an unacceptable way to do business.
Needless to say, I missed my deadline (and lost a customer as a result). Never at any point did I receive an apology for the atrocious way that I was treated. Zooom’s prices may be affordable, but the callous way that the owner treats their clients is simply not worth it. Avoid at all costs.

I have been working with Zooom Printing for over 6+ years as of 2015. I began working with them early on in my career after several difficult experiences with other local printers. Like one of the other reviewers, I was repeatedly told to check into Zooom after hearing of my issues. However, my experience was nothing like theirs. I sent along some invoices to Zooom and asked them if they could provide a quote so I could compare. The quotes came back substantially lower than I paid so I decided to give them a shot. Now, 6+ years later, I’m still with Zooom and they have essentially become family to me. I think that the fact that it has been this long should be a testament to their service.
Throughout my years working with them, I have always had a great experience. That’s not to say that there hasn’t been an issue here and there. But, in every instance, they have taken care of the problem if it was an issue on their end — and they’ve helped me to sort through the issue if the problem was on mine. And NEVER, never have I had an experience in which I felt like they weren’t looking out for myself and the success of my business. Being a small business owner with essentially one employee (me) means that the relationship that’s been built between us can’t really have a price put on it.
For these reasons and many more, I’m confused by the one-​star reviews that have been left for them. My suspicion, as with any situation such as this, is that the customers themselves had their own practices and personalities that simply didn’t mesh with Zooom. Ben Rossi is an extremely hard working business owner — he is not going to hold your hand and give you warm milk before your nap — he’s simply not the touchy-​feely type. But he has ALWAYS been accountable for the work he produces and made sure the job isn’t done until It’s right. Ben gives of himself as much as he is given. So essentially; if you’re professional and courteous — so is he. If you’re a disrespectful and unprofessional twit — he won’t stand for it. I’m perfectly fine with that arrangement.
My ONLY product is paper-​based and Zooom has been an essential part of my businesses continued growth and success. I would highly recommend you give them a call.

When looking for a printer to handle our project, countless people told us to head to Zooom. After dealing with them I can sincerely not understand why. We had to beg for weeks to get a quote, we were given misinformation about the process (leading to a delivery date over a week past our original, desired delivery date), no communication about the fact that our job wouldn’t be ready by the desired date (it was only when I called the day before we were planning on picking it up that I was told it wouldn’t be ready for another week… even though all of the proof documents I had signed off on still stated desired delivery date), there was no show of willingness to take responsibility when poor practices or errors on their part were pointed out, and absolutely no effort to try to keep us as customers after the experience. I’m stumped at how someone can stay in business with customer service this poor. Just stumped.

I run a small business, and as any small business owner knows, I am always running behind schedule and always on a tight budget.
I’m consistently impressed with these folks. Specifically…
–A helpful, accessible, and friendly staff. I’m never left wondering if my job is actually happening on schedule.
–Quick turnaround.
–Useful feedback on artwork and proofs, with concrete suggestions when things don’t look as good as they could.
–Very reasonable prices, and actually cheaper than the online «discount» shops I’ve worked with in the past.
–Goal-​oriented suggestions when I have an idea and just haven’t scoped it out properly.
In Richmond, we support our local businesses, and often pay a premium while making sacrifices to do so. With Zooom Printing, I’ve not had to sacrifice anything. Quite the contrary, I get top notch printing done quick, cheap, consistently, and locally. They’ve saved my ass a handful of times!
