Groutastic

The tile place where we purchased our tile recommended them along with a couple of other places. We hired Groutastic and their workers came and re-​grouted 2 bathrooms. We had to have them come back immediately because they missed major spots. We had to again have them come back as the grout either fell out or was never put in properly. All this within the month. Recently, (about 1 year later) we noticed grout missing in 2 areas. We called them up fully expecting to have to pay them to come back. Josh said that he would do it as a courtesy. I thought how nice of him. A week after his workers came the grout fell out. I called Josh and he complained bitterly about coming back. I told him that he offered to do it as a courtesy but if he wanted to get paid that would be ok. He continued grousing about having to come back and told me the girl in the office would call to set up an appointment. After 2 weeks and no call, I called again. He moaned some more about having to come back and said this would be the 4^th time he was returning. I reminded him that the 1^st 2 times were when they originally put in the grout and missed major places and the grout fell out after a week! He continued to grumble and complain and again said his girl would call to set up an appointment. It’s been a month and I know he never meant to come back!
Hire someone else who is competent and professional!

I had work done by groutastic– they were to remove existing grout and replace with caulk in a shower. They did not remove any of the grout and applied caulk over it which caused cracking and mold. After explaining this to the manager, he got defensive saying I was accusing his men of being dishonest, which he said they were not. Well, they did not do the job which was written up in the contract. I had to remove all the caulk, then remove the grout myself, applied the caulk myself. A complete waste of my money– I should have done it myself all along.
