too bad there isn’t a «no star» rating. it’s probably easier for me to say, i agree with all the bad reviews! rude, uncooperative, won’t allow us to pay for light or dark meat substitutions, chicken was greasy from sitting so long and we had corn kernals in our mashed potatoes. i just can’t figure out how they stay in business… if want dogfood, i’ll buy it at walmart!!!

Worst KFCEVER! First thing to note is that if you dine inside they DONOT have a public restroom. They also do not have sanitary wipes available. When I asked the boy at the counter how I was supposed to wash my hands before eating he offered me a wet wipe that had no alcohol and was not anti-bacterial. Disgusting. Second, I had a coupon in my hand and without even looking at it the manager proudly declared it was expired and that I couldn’t use it. Never seen anyone so happy to turn down a discount. Little did he know my coupon didn’t expire for another month. He then demanded to know where I got the coupon. «You delivered it by mail to my doorstep» was my response. After grudgingly taking my coupon the food was about what I’d expect from a KFC, except the biscuits were a little hard, too old. I don’t know how something is supposed to be ‘finger lickin’ good’ if your fingers can’t even be washed before going to town on some chicken. All in all, I will not be returning to this KFC until they have a bathroom facility installed and the manager changes.

Take a trip through the drive thru and look through the window to get a behind the counter view of how truly disgusting this pig sty is. Can’t believe s random health dept. Inspection hasn’t shut this place down.

To keep this short, the guy at the drive through has terrible customer service and is very rude.

While the food has been consistent with what I expect from KFC, the service has been consistently sub-par. The first time I went, KFC violated VISA’s terms of service, and after I asked to speak to a manager on the issue, I was treated rather abruptly and rudely by him, and actually refused service. The teenager at the counter completed the transaction, and in my opinion, made a better decision than the manager. His damage control was the only thing that stopped me from never eating KFC again. But, after this I still decided never to pay for KFC from Ridgecrest. My second visit was with a friend buying his family dinner. He ordered a cup of mac and cheese on the side and was charged for it, but did not receive it. On top of this, we were not given any napkins. I understand KFC is finger lickin good, but this is ridiculous. And just today, my boss bought a KFC bowl, the 2 piece box meal(comes with coleslaw and mashed potatoes), and a side of coleslaw. We were shorted the side of coleslaw, and only goven one fork to use between the two of us. KFC isn’t THAT finger lickin good. There are more examples of this kind of service, but my memory escapes me, and I’ll keep this as brief as I can. Perhaps when this KFC gets its act together, I’ll follow up with this review. But for now, unless you like food missing from your order or anything else described above, I would go to albertsons and get their chicken.

One of the smaller KFC’s I’ve been to. Greeted immediately upon entry. Staff was friendly and wait for food was reasonable. Food quality was what I would expect from KFC. Menu board is small and not everything that is available is listed(such as hot wings). Recommended if you’re in the mood for chicken.

This KFC does a great job in my opinion. I have a large family of kids and grand kids and, especially on hot days, we need help. I often count on KFC on very busy days that we get together. Yesterday was July 4. We called in an order for 15 people to be ready at 6pm. At 6:05 I rushed in to see my chicken buckets(3) all lining up. Within minutes I had been checked out with my order, a couple add ons, and 15 setups. The setups are extra work for them, gathering all those plates, utensils, napkins, condiments, but they did everything swiftly and cheerfully. I was impressed with their teamwork and customer service and the food was fresh and delicious!

Horrible management, they messed my order up and did not want to give me a refund for their mistake. EVERYONE check your order to make sure you get what you ordered.

Just visited KFC and ordered 2 meals, got home and crap they forgot my biscuits! Can’t give a good review for that. They should be more careful with orders.

I reluctantly went into this dump back in March, as a guest of a client. I won’t recite the other Unilocal!users’ comments, as mine are identical. I was attracted to the new chicken pot pies being offered. The menu board showed a terrific looking pie — full, plump and nicely browned. What I was handed was a large box with a tiny shriveled-up pie, wrapped in packing paper. It looked truly disgusting, like it had been left out in a Motel 6 parking lot all night. I took it back and swapped it for some similary disgusting deep-fried garbage. The clerk gave me the KFC Corporate head office telephone number. Corporate offices for KFC have devised a cowardly new way to get rid of complaints: You call the number(800−225−5532), then say what you’re calling about to a recording. If it’s a complaint, that’s the end of the discussion, because no one will ever return your call. GOTCHA! The owner of this disgusting sewer is someone who hides behind the name«Pollys Pies» [sic]. He also owns the Pizza Hut and Taco Bell in the city of Ridgecrest, two more identically filthy outhouses. And the TACOBELL? That’s the one on the news this summer where the employee ran his sticky tongue over a stack of taco shells… Yes, that TACOBELL, RIDGECREST, CALIFORNIA. Like someone else said, eat out of this toilet at your own risk.

Used drive thru. Service was slow, and I saw more horseplay in the store than I would normally like to see from employees. The only thing saving it from 1-stardom was that the chicken was average.

It wasn’t even sure this was a kfc because of the Polly’s Pies thing, but it is. The food was ok, maybe a little sub par to be honest but that’s the way it goes in fast food. The employees were very kind and over all we had a good experience.

This buy far the worst KFC I have ever been to!!! The food is always old like it has been out all day. I’ve have been here on twice, yeah I know shame on me for going back but I tied to give them one more chance and they didn’t give me what I ordered and the food they did give me was old! So my advice is don’t do it!

Tiny store in the Ridgecrest, CA area. Decided to try some deep fried goodness while on a road trip to Reno. Sadly disappointed though because the chicken did not taste right. Old frying oil used perhaps? Still, this is a busy store with lots of clients walking in and taking a bucket or two to go. Bathroom(1 available) for male employees only but if you ask nicely, they just might let you in through the kitchen back door. The sight that greets you just might change your mind about eating here again. :(

Absolutely one the worst restaraunts I’ve ever experienced. It makes me sad to say that because I love fried chicken and generally like KFC but this place takes the prize. The chicken is cold and greasy. The wait is long. The service is bad because the employees seem indifferent. All this at a premium price. I’ve intended to contact corporate about how bad this KFC is, but haven’t gotten around to it. Do yourself a favor and stay away from here until«Under new management» banner is displayed.
