I live in San Diego and own a home in Ridgecrest (Heritage Village). I needed a 20′ California Palm cut down, so I Googled tree services in Ridgecrest. I got Ridgecrest Tree Service and Mike’s. I called both for an estimate. Mike’s never called back. The guy at Ridgecrest Tree Service was very responsive and friendly… but the cost quoted was $ 1300. I wasn’t ready to commit to that cost so I checked out Unilocal.I found The Tree M.E. and gave them a call. David was a little hard to get ahold of via telephone, but was very responsive through email. He checked out the tree and told me $ 650. Half the cost!!! YEAH!!! He sent me before, during and after pictures. A job well done!!! I would certainly recommend David.

The Tree ME is awesome. He came out when he said he would and he did a fantastic job taking down a tree for us. When he was done he cleaned up and aside from the pile of fire wood and missing tree you would never have known he was there. He responds to emails promptly. He evaluated our trees and wasn’t all about just cutting them down. He has a great deal of knowledge about trees and isn’t just about cutting them down to make money. We would definitely have him come take care of any other trees.
