It gets three stars for the view and the queso dip, but couldn’t give it more because my Arnie’s cheeseburger was just ok and the fries were bad. Was hoping for a better meal but willing to give it another try on another day.

Top of the Rock is such an amazingly beautiful place, that’s why I was expecting something special for lunch. I was very surprised that the menu consisted of low quality Tex-mex dishes. I had the fish tacos that were simply two small pieces of over breaded greasy fish on cold tortillas, bland beans, and rice that tasted like something out of a cheap microwave dinner, to top it off was an ear of undercooked corn on the cob. My daughter ordered the kids quesadillas. She didn’t like the beans or rice and the main dish was a tortilla with a huge piece of cheese that was not melted all the way through. The staff was warm friendly and accommodating. Everything about this place is amazing(except for the food). Until major changes are made to the menu I strongly recommend stoping in for a drink and taking a look around. The building itself and the views are worth the trip.

The food was good, a healthier choice of Mexican fair. The view was what made the entire experience worth it. Our table over looked the driving range and the rear of the chapel. Both were spectacular views. There was a small wedding going on during our lunch and it was just beautiful to see the family and bridal procession file into the chapel. Back to the food, we had the queso, it was just ok because the cheese was not fully melted when it was served. Everyone at the table gobbled it up anyways. I chose the chicken enchiladas with rice and beans it also had Mexican corn. That was a lot of food, more than I could eat in one sitting. Overall the food was really good and the service was OK. I would recommend the restaurant if you’re at the big Cedar lodge or in the area.

Small portions for an outrageous price. Guac was good for the appetizer. We got fajitas but you only get about 6oz of meat for the combo. 28 dollars for fajitas… Kinda crazy they weren’t anything to talk about. Margarita was ok but not anything to scream about. Best experience and great view but the money you spend isn’t really worth it.

Beautiful. Cool, fabulous but food is overpriced and just ok. Sucks cause it could be so much better. You pay $ 10 to park.(Get it back with food credit or merchandise) my suggestion is go and have cocktail hang out and then go eat in Branson. Much better and not sky high. Burger was $ 20.00 and not worthy. Cheese dip was Barbie doll size and enchiladas were good but Luke warm ! My whole table said the same thing. If you are going to eat here I would try fajitas. They looked pretty good. Throw that food in sink hole and hire a new chef for both barn and fancy place. The place is to cool to be so so.

Great lunch spot with a spectacular view and yummy margaritas! My husband had the fajitas; I had the pork tacos. Both excellent! After lunch, we had to try out the driving range, right downstairs. Great time at the barn. So great in fact, we ended up being regulars during our stay at Big Cedar!

I struggled with the rating to give but it comes down to one person that made our experience better. We arrived just looking to get drinks and chose to wait for a table outside since we wanted to enjoy the scenery. We were seated then proceeded to wait several minutes while those around us were being served and waited on. And we continued to wait… we probably waited probably 20 minutes and were greeted by another server that said there was a mix up with servers and apparently our waitress hadn’t been informed that we were her table. After about another 10 – 15 minutes we still hadn’t been greeted by our waitress and had flagged down yet another person to ask. We finally decided to leave this table and try by the bar while members of our party had to leave. At the bar we were waited on by the bartender Tim W., and he was fabulous! I would like to give a better rating but it was really only Tim and the incredible job that he did making sure we were served and had everything we needed that redeemed our first experience at this restaurant. The food was good, I had the braised-short rib enchiladas and they were tasty. But if I were to ever go back, it would be to sit at the bar and have some drinks because at least there we were actually served, and what amazing service it was, thanks Tim!

The ambiance is enough of a reason to come here. The views are breathtaking and the restaurant is gorgeous. I had the combo plate and agree with some of the other reviewers. The quesadilla was great, the corn was fabulous, and spicy salsa they bring is really good. Nice roasty spicy flavor. The chicken enchilada was just okay, as well as the fish taco. A lot of breading– I missed the fish almost entirely. Overall, service was excellent and some menu items shined. I’d recommend to others.

Great food. Chorizo burger, combo plate, and fajitas all really good! Amazing atmosphere and fast and friendly service at the bar and our table. But don’t order the churros. They legitimately look like turds and aren’t very tasty.

First off, I didn’t eat at the resturant, so this review is in regards to the area itself. The whole area is breathtakingly beautiful, with several interesting buildings to walk through. If you can go at sunset, you definitely should, as it’s the best view available in the area, and the resort puts on a bagpipe player and shoots off a civil war era cannon. Even though kids could enjoy some aspects of this place, I see it more as a romantic evening for couples.

Fresh basil and mozzarella make this thin crust pizza Delish. The view cannot be beat. Table Rock out all sides all around a fabulous experience in the Ozarks. As dinner was served a bagpipe player entertained us briefly. The open air was wonderful. After the cave tour and seeing the chapel dinner was top Crème de la crème. Will return again. Our server Jordan was exceptional. Adding to the experience.

We ate at Arnie’s twice during our stay. The guacamole is delicious. I at the veggie fajitas once and the chickpea salad. Both were very good. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The view over the golf course was incredible. I would recommend eating here. Also, the history of the construction is a great history lesson.

I’ve been coming to big Cedar for 20 years. At first this new expansion is breathtaking. But the nickel and diming at every opportunity is so incredibly tasteless. I’m going to start looking for a new resort. After paying several hundred dollars a night for a room you are expected to pay $ 10 to enter the area where they have restaurants. And you’re expected to park in an area where you have to take a shuttle to the restaurant or you can pay an extra $ 15 for valet parking. Good for them if they can get it but it won’t be coming for me anymore. goodbye big Cedar — it’s been a good run but I already miss the old charm.

We came down to Big Cedar but ended up spending an entire day at Top of the Rock. The place is ridiculously gorgeous, inside and out! It is definitely pricey for food and activity but still worth it. We went to the Osage and Arnie’s Barn restaurants. Both excellent with good service. We also checked out the museum where my favorite parts were the historical animal exhibits. Very fun and impressive. The coolest part was taking a golf cart drive around the property and through a cave. There was even a fun little drive up bar inside! So many waterfalls and picturesque spots where you can take your time and get out of the cart for picture taking. For two adults for lunch, the museum and a cave tour, we spent $ 150.

We ate at the Arnies restaurant. Mexican food which tasted delicious. Very accommodating to our whole family. The view is incredible and I would recommend sitting outside if the weather allows. Wait staff was very friendly.

Very disappointing. The food was incredibly bland. I took one bite of the pen chowder. It had no flavor at all but was fairly spicy. The kids thought their chicken tacos were ok but neither are too much of them. My wife got the combo and said it tasted like cafeteria food. Very bland.(Also not cheap but he way, $ 20 for a combo plate and $ 18 for small soup and small salad). Our waiter asked how it was and even asked if I didn’t care for the soup since it only had a couple bites out of it. I told him no, that I didn’t like it at all. He said that’s too bad and just walked off. No attempt to comp it or offer anything to make it right. Biggest disappointment t though was that the only reason we came up there was to hear a cannon be shot off. We were told earlier that day if we came back at sunset we could see it. After dinner we walked over and were told they don’t shoot off the cannon until after Easter! We left Big Cedar and drive up there 100% for the canon. Talk about some upset children! The views are great though. I will give them that. And the old barn is really cool inside. I’d suggest just walking around though and site seeing. The food isn’t worth the high prices in any way at all.

We ate at the Buffalo Bar at Top of the Rock and had a marvelous time. We enjoyed listening to a live performer and had the best food and service. I highly recommend the roasted halibut. Our server made us feel like the only patrons in the house. Do not miss this beautiful facility and culinary experience!

Dinner at Arnie’s was pretty terrible. The view was absolutely amazing, but the service was completely lacking! The food was also pretty bland(although the grilled corn was yummy). I would never go back. We went to the bar a few nights ago and the food and service was phenomenal. I’ll only go back there, for sure!

Amazing view. Decent food. This was the Mexican restaurant at Arnie’s Barn at Top of the Rock. Had the Combo meal. Fish Taco, Pork quesadilla, & Chicken enchilada. Taco was small, pork quesadilla was very good, chicken enchilada was mediocre. Rice & beans were nothing to write home about but«ok». Corn on the cob was great. Key lime pie for dessert was very good.

AWESOME! Osage Restaurant is perfect. My dining partners each loved every bite. A few unusual combinations proved to be crave-worthy(tomato and peach salad). Prices seem high at first, but the portions are fairly generous and include both potato and veggies. Other steak houses often charge for sides, so the overall net-net is about the same price. However, the views alone are worth the price. A sunset dinner proved to provide a PERFECT summer evening experience. After dinner walk thru the wine cellar and the chapel. Along the way the views over the infinity pool and lake are breathtakingly incredible. I would advise staying away from the«signature chicken dish». It has gotten poor reviews on line and diners near us gave the same feedback. This place is unbelievable. The entrance isn’t marked well and the signage is a bit hokey, but once you get into the property it will take your breath way. The parking is either valet($ 10) or you park at the visitor center and take a shuttle to the restaurant. There is no general parking lot at the restaurant itself.
