I am amazed at the help the staff is willing and able to give. The owner patiently explained the directions to me, a new knitter, and fixed some mistakes I had made. I would have been lost without their friendly assistance. I would recommend this shop wholeheartedly for the warmth of the employees and the beautiful yarns.

Love Nancy O’s! Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Products are unique and high quality and staff will take the time to help pick out a special gift for someone or help with a knitting project. I have taken the knitting classes too and Missy is the best teacher. I have seen many kids helping their moms (and even some dads!) pick out a knitting project and staff has always been super friendly

Nancy O is a gem of a shop in Ridgefield.
It’s filled with beautiful yarns in many colors and materials (wool, cotton, alpaca, bamboo, silk, merino and you name it, etc). If they don’t have it the staff will go out of their way to get it for you.
As you walk around the shop you will see many finished projects to inspire you with plenty of help from the staff.
Classes are cozy and fun with instructors that will help you any time of day.
You will also find merchandise of sweaters, bags, jewelry and of course all the tools you’ll need to complete your knitting or crochet projects.
It’s just a wonderful shop with great customer service.

I only have wonderful things to say about Nancy O’s. When I first started knitting Nancy and her team were there to help find my mistakes. Along the way I signed up for a class to learn how to make my first sweater and now I take classes periodically help me with lace or just get out for an evening social.
I am a knitter who appreciates the yarn in stock, the ability to special order and I appreciate the ability to pick up a gift. Nancy has a wonderful selection of accessories, women’s clothes and baby gifts. We have lost so many stores over the years, this is one of the gems of Ridgefield.
I am always happy to spend an afternoon knitting or shopping. The staff is wonderful, friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make suggestions but I feel comfortable just browsing too.
And I should also say that they wrap gifts and gift cards!
Well worth time time to stop in and shop or sit in the back corner where Nancy has chairs and couches, sample patterns to inspire and a space to spend the day without being rushed out.
As I have said, a gem of Ridgefield with the customer service to go with it.

Should post a sign «children NOT welcome». I have been a customer since before my son born (he will be turning six). I have spent much money there on yarn and have even taken classes– and yet I still get dirty looks and the cold shoulder when I go in with my son — no matter how much money I spend. Who are their clientele if it is not mothers? Unless you can afford a babysitter, avoid the judgmental looks, save your 20%, and buy online.
