Worst ever. The salad tasted like miracle whip with olives. The vegetarian pizza was like card board. Hard to swallow. Very little cheese or sauce. A small smattering of toppings in the middle of our large pizza. The 3″ around the edges were bare and burnt. When I brought it to the high school kids’ attention who was in charge. I was told, «let me take that from you», and walked away. No apology, nothing. What a waste of money. What a poor excuse for a pizza place. The only thing good was the beer.

Great service, old school style pizza that reminds me of childhood. We loved the open, airy space with clean bathrooms. Family friendly.

Convenient pizza for Ridgefield. When you call, often find yourself on hold for extensive periods of time(more than 10 minutes). I have called on a second phone and they took my second call right away. Sad. Super nice people when you pick up the food though. Pizza is fair for taste. Expensive for what you get.

Unreliable! They did the worst thing a restaurant could do. They closed early! I write this review with a heavy heart. Our favorite pizza place. We drive from Oregon passing about 3000 pizza parlors along the way. The pizza is incredible. Thin crust, awesome toppings. Love it. We planned a trip around stopping to get Papa Pete’s on the way home from Amboy. It was 9:20 Saturday night.(They close at10.) Approximately 10 patrons still in the place. «Sorry, we closed early because not enough customers. «What??? They blamed owners until I asked for their name. This is one of my biggest pet peeves. Dont hire inexperienced management to save a buck. Closing early is a big no no.

Good pizza but it is infuriating that my kids spend a lot of money on the games but when the games malfunction and take their money they will not give refunds. Silly to lose customers over .75! Spent $ 45 on pizza and $ 10 in the arcade yet they will not give us .75 back? Makes no sense.

I have never had such a poor experience at a restaurant. The lady at the counter claimed she was the manager, but refused to tell me her name. We ordered on the phone and they stated 20 minutes, but with our wait at the restaurant it took over an hour. I will NEVER go back to this place, not worth it one bit! Save yourself the frustration.

Our pizza had hardly any cheese and all the tables were dirty we had to bus our own and watched several employees walk by seeing the tables and not one cleaned in the hour we were there! The pizza usually is good but last few times been so so!

Papa Pete’s has the best pizza! We go in whenever we are in the area and the food is always good. The pizza is fairly spendy but it’s worth it. The drive up window is really convenient as well. Although the food is great, the service is almost always lacking. The people aren’t rude, they just have a hard time doing things like taking an order, ringing up the sale, running a credit card, etc. Not sure what’s up with $ 1 take out charge either? What’s the difference if I eat in and get a box? Either way, the pizza is great and I recommend it!

I didn’t have a good experience here at all. I ordered over the phone my first time ever coming here and they told me 20 minutes, I got there well over 30(not that it even really mattered to me anyways) but the pizza still took another 15. Not only that, but the girls working looked at me as if I was dumb and didn’t even ask what it was I was waiting in line for and just passed me by. Then the girl who took my card was really snappy and had no interest in helping me. Very rude staff.

Once again forced to go here due to team party. There really isn’t anything to say that I haven’t already said. There is a light at the end of the tunnel as this is the last year my daughter will be on rec league. Avoid this dump like the plague unless you are forced to come here for a kids sports party!!!

Not good! The only thing worse than the pizza is the service. Oh, it’s expensive too!

Stop here by chance, hungry and didn’t stop in Vancouver which we should have. Customer service was lackluster at best, lots of dirty tables, but no one here. Looked like they had been dirty for a while. Ordered anyway against our better judgment. 1 small loaded meat pizza 1 side salad and 2 sodas came to almost $ 29.00! When the pizza arrived it looked like it was literally thrown together. After that we noticed how much orange grease was oozing out of it. The sauce was marginal, at best and the crust was awful. The ingredients were not made with quality ingredients, way overpriced for what we were served. save your $$ and keep on driving up the freeway.

We tried this place one more time because it is right off the freeway and we were meeting friends. It was worse than ever, filthy tables everywhere, a line to the door of people with issues or waiting to be helped. One grumpy teenager trying to help people and another teenager claiming to be the manager trying to take care of the grumpy customers. They had at least 3 issues while I was waiting in line and none of them were resolved. I should have walked out but we had called in our order so I felt obligated to wait it out. The pizza was horrible and we will NEVER go there again.

Yummy pizza… Love that they use the small Pepperonis. But this place is way expensive! We would order more but it just costs too much! Not too fond of the eat in option. It’s loud and usually lots of kids there. Seems to be the after sports family spot. But take out is fine.

Pizza was good but expensive. Tables were dirty and the employees were hanging around when tables were dirty leaving one young man to do all the work.. Bathroom had no toilet paper and paper towels. I told a young lady at the counter and still after 20 minutes of me watching no one has corrected this issue. Poor customer service

We’ve been here three times… was hoping the third time would be the clichéd charm. It wasn’t. If I were to judge on service alone, they’d receive one star. The staff is disorganized and possibly not trained well? Not sure how else to explain why it takes 30 minutes to receive a simple side salad after ordering it. We had called in for our pizza in advance, as we were coming in with a large group. The salad was an afterthought. We received it as we were finishing the pizza. It’s worth noting the pizza was ready 20 minutes past our requested time via the phone order. Now, onto the food! The pizza is decent but has far too much grease remaining on the plate once the slice is gone. The salad is not much more than iceberg topped with black olives and cheese. The dressing was served on the side and appeared to have been setting out for a while. The silver lining for Papa Pete’s is the arcade and the large space available for groups. The kids love this place, so it’s a solid team venue for end-of-season sports.

I came with a larger group. All together we had 4 family size pizzas. All were perfectly cooked and ready fairly quickly. They were all great tasting. We all would recommend this place to friends. The only downside is that the tables aren’t usually too clean.

Very poor experience — the menu describes the place as a family run business. The family is not taking care of business in my opinion. When I arrived I was greeted by a empty front counter with a bell, I rang it and a kid came out and took the order — no customer experience going on so far. The restaurant was not bust at all, only about six tables occupied. The pizza took at least 30 minutes to arrive but was pretty good and hot. They did not bring plates with the pizza but eventually dropped off a few paper plates, this caused us to wait to enjoy the food until they dropped off the plates, The thing that struck me was that there were 15 tables that needed to be cleaned after the customers had left. There is nothing more telling about how the restaurant is run is when they do not clean their tables right away. The food sat on the tables for an hour with not one table cleaned while I was there. Very disgusting to sit there with all the dirty tables. They hide the Parmesan cheese and cracked pepper behind the counter so the customer does not have access to it like most restaurants. To sum it up– dirty, poor service, no customer service experience, pizza was OK. Would not recommend to a friend. Recommendation– the family that owns the business needs to get a clue on how to run a business and train their employees better of they decide to have a bunch oh high school kids run it.

I love Papa Petes pizza but I hate how stinking expensive it is. It was 42.00 for 2 medium pizzas for petes sakes! I mean it is good but holy crap… is there gold in the crust? To make matters worse one of the pizzas I ordered was half cheese and half pepperoni — and there was pepperoni on ¼ of the pizza. The pepperoni was scarce on that section too. Service was ho hum. I dunno, i do love the pizza but i don’t come here very often because of the price. Can you imagine how much more business they would have if they lowered their prices to be in line and still competitive in the pizza market?
