Summit Grove Lodge

We had our wedding at Summit Grove Lodge because we fell in love with it upon first sight. It is a beautiful venue in a nice, woodsy location. The person we originally worked with at the venue, Elizabeth, was kind and helpful, as well. It wasn’t until we put down a deposit and signed a contract that the service went downhill. Elizabeth left her position a couple months after we met her, and we then had to work exclusively with Peter, the catering manager (this venue requires you to use their catering for events). He NEVER responded to ANY of our emails or voicemails and was incredibly difficult to reach. When we did meet with him, he seemed controlling and critical of our ideas and needs, even though we were quite reasonable. The wedding ended up being nice, and the food was very good, but for the price we paid (which was on the higher end of the venues we looked at), the service was terrible. I would caution anyone against choosing this venue for any event due to the poor service.

What an amazing place! We had brunch here today and couldn’t have been happier! The food was delicious the service was fantastic and the atmosphere was breathtaking! We loved it so much that we have already inquired about Easter! Out server Maggie was friendly and attentive and very very informative. We will be back and we can’t wait for our family to visit so we can bring them here!!!

Beautiful venue for a lovely Sunday brunch or special holiday. Lots of excellent choices and service is great. Recommend this historic old place for a wedding or special event.

Food was good but they ran out of some items and it took a while for them to refill and it was only 10am. They need to be better prepared, they should be checking and refilling quickly to accommodate customers. The building and grounds were beautiful.

My husband and I just had Sunday brunch at Summit Grove Lodge. It was a wonderful experience! From the moment we entered through the entrance, we were greeted warmly and shown to a table in the gorgeous dining room. The buffet had a wide array of fruit, egg dishes, seafood, meat and desserts. You feel as though you are experiencing something extra special when dining here. Our server, Dee, was amazing. Everyone who worked there was so friendly and helpful. We were introduced to the owner after we had finished our meal and he made us feel like family. We will definitely be returning to Summit Grove Lodge in the near future. Give it a try and you’ll find a bit of heaven in this beautiful, historic lodge.

For only $ 22/​person, enjoy endless options for brunch on Sundays prepared by a wonderful chef. On a nice day, you can sit outside (we sat by the waterfall) or you can sit inside the freshly remodeled lodge-​style main dining room. The service is clean, friendly and the chef checks in with you to make sure everything is perfect.
