Toy Chest

Great toy store! They always have unique gifts as well as the standard ones. It is surprising how much this little store can hold. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Love that they support the ridgefield summer reading program too…

I’d like to like my local toy store. I certainly spend enough money here. But let’s just cut to the chase. This store is a pigsty. I’m not just referring to the disorder on the shelves. It is filthy. The two staffers today are more intent on peering at their smartphone (s) than attempting to create any order — though one of them — at this very moment — is playing Simon. After her smoke break. The smoke still wafts through the store. She didn’t bother to step far enough from the open back door for the smoke to waft instead into the restaurant next door. Cigarette butts litter the ground. Along with the wrappers of party snappers she was (oddly) tossing on the ground for her own amusement. She must own the store — certainly only the owner can use up consumable merchandise while on break, right? Anyway, you get the idea. There is an operational issue here. Enough said.
