Verizon Wireless – Your Wireless

Went here today and the staff were wonderful! My family and I were switching from AT&T due to our astronomical bill and lack of service near our home. I think all verizon stores are pretty much the same but at this small place I want to especially compliment the staff.
Wally assisted us through our whole process. Since we were switching over 3 phones (all getting new ones) and getting an iPad it was a long process. Wally was cheerful and kind through the whole thing, he even stayed late to make sure we were all set up. Wally was personable and smart, keeping all the numbers and deductions in his head. We felt very well cared for and he deserves a raise!
The other staff was also fantastic. During our time waiting for the switch over process I overheard Kevin (I think is his name?) assisting tons of other customers. He answered every little question no matter how silly.
If you are local and have verizon, come support this great group of people!

Ever try to call a wireless company and get a straight answer? It’s what’s called going down a rabbit hole. I called our local Verizon store and spoke with Chris. He was a wealth of knowledge. I went into the store and bought a Samsung 6 Galaxy with a great (and affordable) plan. Take the time to call Chris or Wally — they will give you all the honest information you need.

The customer service here is atrocious and makes for an incredibly unpleasant experience. Not only is the location severely under staffed, the employees are seemingly uninterested in helping a customer for more than 15 minutes, leaping at the opportunity to hop to the next in line. Both employees also took personal phone calls while customers waited in line for their assistance. All told it took over an hour to activate one phone.
Even worse, the manager of the store sold me a tablet that had all the previous owners information still on it. A used tablet with bank accounts, email, venmo, you name it.
There are two verizon stores in Danbury CT about 20 – 30 minutes away from this location, if you can go to those I highly recommend it.
