I expected so much more from this event. The bbq was not that great and they advertised a «big» plate but it wasn’t. The music and activities weren’t good enough to justify me taking advantage of it in future years. They were good, just not good enough. Maybe football and fair season isn’t the best time for the event to draw a crowd. I just went on Saturday. If the event planners are reading… find more stuff for people to do. Games etc for adults. Have better raffle prizes(candied popcorn really?) Also it’s Smokin on the Rez and the logo has an alligator. Kind of confusing. I don’t associate alligators with the Rez enough and I’d expect a pig for the Smokin part. As an event planner I rate this a flop. If it was free then maybe I’d have more stars, but not worth $ 10, and that’s saying something. If you need ideas, message me, I’ve planned my share of successful community events. Hope it improves because it’s a good idea. It needs a lot of work.
